(Revelations 21:1-5) May 5, 2019: 3rd Sunday of Easter If we love, we know the presence of God. Take time to be aware of God s loving presence. Are you open to the Holy Spirit? (John 14:23-29) May 12, 2019: 4th Sunday of Easter Jesus promised his disciples that they would be clothed in power from God. As a follower of Jesus, you are also given that same promise. Pray for the grace to be a faithful witness. (Luke 24: 46-53) May 19, 2019: 5th Sunday of Easter The disciples of Jesus made bold proclamations through the promptings of the Spirit. What is the Spirit prompting you to do? Be courageous and act on it! (Acts 2: 1-11) May 26, 2019: 6th Sunday of Easter The love of God is being poured forth into our hearts. Open yourself to receive and share that love. Is God calling you to spread love through a Church vocation? (Romans 5:1-5) June 2, 2019: 7th Sunday of Easter Feast of the Ascension Jesus asked, Why do you not give them something to eat yourselves? What do you have to offer to the hungry world? (Luke 9:11-17) June 9, 2019: Pentecost Sunday Jesus is compassionate especially with those who mourn. Are you able to touch the lives of those who grieve? Could God be calling you to serve others through Church ministry? (Luke 7:11-17) June 16, 2019: Sunday of The Most Holy Trinity Love abounds when forgiveness is experienced. Forgiveness frees one to follow Jesus. Rededicate your life to Jesus. (Luke 7:36-8:3) June 23, 2019: Feast of the Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ Following Jesus demands carrying the cross and walking in his steps. Do you have the courage to be a follower? Trust that Jesus will give you what you need. (Luke 9:18-24) June 30, 2019: 13th Sunday of the Year Ordinary Time Will you choose to follow Jesus wherever he goes? To say yes without hesitation requires great trust. The reign of God needs servants to trust. (Luke 9:51-62) July 7, 2019: 14th Sunday of the Year Ordinary Time The harvest is rich but the workers are few; therefore ask the harvest-master to send workers to his harvest. Pray for vocations. Depend on God s providence. (Luke 10:1-9)

July 14, 2019: 15th Sunday of the Year Ordinary Time We are called to love with our whole being. Is God inviting you to love through ministry to the Church? Pray for generosity to serve God s people. (Luke 10: 25-37) July 21, 2019: 16th Sunday of the Year Ordinary Time Jesus desires that we, like his friend Mary, would spend time in his presence. Take time regularly to be with Jesus and listen to his living word. (Luke 10:38-42) July 28, 2019: 17th Sunday of the Year Ordinary Time Ask and you shall receive; seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you. Believe and act on Jesus promise. Pray for wisdom to discern God s will. (Luke 11:1-13) August 4, 2019: 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time Spend your life growing rich in the sight of God. That s what counts. How will you do this? (Luke 12:13-21) August 11, 2019: 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time Be alert to God s presence even in the least expected times, places and events. You will be ready to respond to God s call. (Luke 12:32-48) August 18, 2019: 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time When you choose to follow Jesus, be ready for an ordeal. Pray that you can be sustained in the adversities of life. (Luke 12:49-53) August 25, 2019: 21th Sunday in Ordinary Time Will you help gather people to be a part of the reign of God? Pray to be open if God calls you to serve as priest, deacon, brother, or sister. (Isaiah 66:18-21) September 1, 2019: 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time Humility is needed for those who choose to serve. Are you able to recognize your gifts and offer them in humble service? (Luke 14:1, 7-14) September 8, 2019: 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time You have one precious life to give. How do you choose to offer it to God? Are you willing to accept the challenges of discipleship? (Luke 14:25-33) September 15, 2019: 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time We are called to proclaim God s abundant love for all people. How can you be an instrument of that love? Our world needs you! (Luke 15:1-32) September 22, 2019: 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time You cannot serve two masters. Whom do you choose to follow? You have to make a choice. (Luke 16:1-13) September 29, 2019: 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Who do you identify with the rich man or Lazarus? Choose to notice others and to reach out to those in need. Support those who serve the poor. (Luke 16: 19-31) October 6, 2019: 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time The Spirit of God makes us strong, loving and wise. How will you use these gifts to serve the gospel? Consider being a sister, brother, priest or deacon. (2 Timothy 1:6-8, 13-14) October 13, 2019: 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time Gratitude leads to praise. For what are you thankful? How do you share your gratitude? (Luke 17: 11-19) October 20, 2019: 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time Pray persistently and God will respond. Ask God to bless the Church with faith-filled ministers. (Luke 18: 1-8) October 27, 2019: 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time Be humble and allow God to do great things through you. (Luke 18: 9-14) November 3, 2019: 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time Jesus approaches us and wants to come stay with us. Are you ready to change your ways, like Zacchaeus, to follow Jesus? (Luke 19: 1-10) November 10, 2019: 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time You are alive for God. Trust that God will welcome you into the kingdom. (Luke 20: 27-38) November 17, 2019: 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Patient endurance will see you through to the end. God will give you the wisdom and the words to speak. What is holding you back from a wholehearted yes? (Luke 21: 5-19) November 24, 2019: Feast of Christ the King The Church needs shepherds. Pray that the bishops will lead us well and rely on the power of God. (2 Samuel 5: 1-3)
