DEAR FRIEND, Everyone wants to live an extraordinary life. Thankfully, ordinary or mediocre are not words to describe our last 15 years at The Summit Church! This passion is in our hearts because our God is an extraordinary God! The greatest joy in life comes in knowing and experiencing Him and making this great God known to others. We exist as a church for that purpose. The following pages explain the next step in our journey as a church. We believe God wants to see His work spread rapidly and abound in ever-widening circles of influence and your Spirit-led cooperation will make all the difference! We can t do everything (nor are we called to as a church), but by God s grace we can be used to make a mighty impact for His glory and the good of thousands. Please read this prayerfully and determine what God is calling you to do as we join together in the next leg of this EXTRAordinary journey! Your Elder Team

THE EXTRAORDINARY INITIATIVE Over the last 15 years, God has graciously used The Summit to reach people in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth. The EXTRAordinary initiative will seek to raise $1,000,000 over the next two years to expand His kingdom even more. In February of each year, we focus on our missions offering. Last year, we gave $83,000. As we give to our EXTRAordinary initiative goal, 25% of this giving will be used for missions. This will increase our Missions resources from $83,000 to $125,000 annually for the next two years and enable us to support more and more church planting ministries around the world! We already have missionaries and church planters who are ready to go as the funds are provided! The remainder of the money raised (75%) will help fund our church plant in Conway. We have already included their ministry funds in our existing budget, but the EXTRAordinary giving will be used to help us find and develop a facility for weekly gathering and ministry. If our Conway church does not utilize all of these funds, we will apply the remaining money to start our next regional church plant as God directs. We are asking each individual or family to make a commitment to the EXTRAordinary initiative by March 16 that is over and above their normal giving. On March 16, we are encouraging everyone to bring a First Fruits offering as the first giving step in their commitment. EXTRAordinary Goal: $1,000,000 over Two Years 25% Missions around the World 75% Conway Facilities Needs and Future Church Plants

WHY PLANT THE SUMMIT CHURCH IN CONWAY? Our mission at The Summit Church is to cooperate with God in developing multiplying communities of fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ, and we want to see this happen in Central Arkansas as much as in Suriname or Kenya! But many would ask, Why plant more churches in areas that already have so many churches? The fact is that new churches are most effective at reaching new generations, new residents, and new people groups. Studies have shown that the average church plant is six times more effective at reaching the unchurched than an established church would be. That is EXTRAordinary impact! There is enormous need all over Central Arkansas, but we believe that Conway is the most strategic place for The Summit Church to establish our next plant. With three colleges and one of the highest growth rates in the state, Conway is a spiritual beachhead for all of Central Arkansas. With the addition of The Summit Church: Conway, we believe we can more effectively reach Arkansas and continue to send the gospel to the nations! CONWAY LEADERSHIP TEAM: Left to Right: Dawson & Laurel Jones (College Pastor), Blake & Danielle Hudspeth (Equipping Pastor), Kyle & Katie Reno (Lead Pastor), Seth & Amanda Price (Worship Pastor)

Conway is the 4th fastest-growing city in our state and is 76% unchurched. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: What is the EXTRAordinary Initiative about? A: It is a two-year plan to raise funds for church expansion here and around the world. It will increase our Missions resources and also provide the means to help plant the Conway church. 25% will go to expand our regular Missions work. 75% will go to our regional church planting work, beginning in Conway. Q: Will this take the place of our normal Missions offering we raise annually? A: Yes, for the next two years. Q: When will the Conway church begin its regular weekly gatherings? A: April 20 (Easter Sunday). They will, however, have three Sunday gatherings prior to this for their Core Team to prepare. Q: Where will The Summit Church: Conway initially meet? A: God has graciously opened up a door for us to gather on Sunday mornings at Cornerstone Bible Church on Dave Ward Drive. This will give us a place to begin to worship as we seek to find a more permanent facility that we can make our own. Q: What will The Summit Church: Conway look like? A: Just like The Summit Church: Little Rock! We will have live preaching that we pray is filled with the life of GOD! Q: Who will be leading The Summit Church: Conway? A: God has given us an incredible team in Kyle Reno, Lead Pastor; Blake Hudspeth, Equipping Pastor; Dawson Jones, College Pastor; Seth Price, Worship Pastor; and a Core Team of 115 people... and growing!

Q: How should I determine what to give? A: Please do not give an offering you have not prayed about! God knows exactly what you are to give. Spend time praying, asking God to lay an amount on your heart so that your giving is by faith! Bring your commitment card and begin your giving with a First Fruits offering (whatever you are able to bring towards that commitment) on March 16. No amount is too small! Your one goal should be simply to obey God in sacrificial faith. It s our LEADERS RESPONSIBILITY to let you know of the need. It is GOD S RESPONSIBILITY to impress on your heart what you are to do about that need. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to respond to God and get in on the joy of being used by Him for His kingdom purposes! Q: Is this commitment over and above my normal giving or my tithe? A: Yes. It is important that we continue our generous giving to support all the work of The Summit that God is blessing now and that has made this expansion possible! Q: What are the ways I can give to the EXTRAordinary Initiative? A: You can give A one-time gift A regular weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual gift Gifts in kind i.e., an object of worth that you want to contribute to the initiative. (It would be very helpful if you sold this yourself first and then brought the offering.) Q: Can I change my EXTRAordinary Commitment along the way? A: Absolutely. Your giving is always between you and the Lord! David Smiley baptizing a new Christian in the Saramacca River in Suriname.
