Ephesians 2:20-22 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. 1. How do you keep the things described in Philippians in your mind? Titus 2:4 admonish the young women to love their husbands and love their children. Deuteronomy 6:7 You shall teach them (the Words of God) diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up. Proverbs 31:28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Titus 2:3,4,5 (only selected words as a group of behaviors) We are to be reverent in behavior, chaste, obedient to their own husbands and not given to much wine. Proverbs 31:27b she watches over the ways of her household Proverbs 31:30b Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:11, 12 The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life. 3
Proverbs 31:13-16, 18, 27b She seeks wool and flax and willingly works with her hands. She is like the merchant ships, she brings her food from afar. She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household, she considers a field and buys it; from her profits she plants a vineyard. Her lamp does not go out by night. and she does not eat the bread of idleness. Titus 2:5 that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Titus 2:5 tells us that she is DISCREET Proverbs 31:25 Strength and honor are her clothing. Colossians 3:12-17 Put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another, as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things, put on Love, which is the bond of perfection, Let the peace of God rule in your hearts. Let the Word of God dwell in you richly.. Giving thanks to God. RUTH Ruth 1:12,13 I am too old to have a husband (for you). If I should say I have hope, if I should have a husband tonight and should also bear sons, would you wait for them till they were grown? Ruth 2:7 Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves. Ruth 2:10 So she fell on her face, bowed down to the ground, and said to him, Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner? Ruth 2:13 Let me find favor in your sight my lord; for you have comforted me. Ruth 2:14-15 We see Ruth working all day, and at evening, Ruth 2:18 She took what she had gleaned and gave to her mother in law what she had kept back. Ruth 2:22,23 (We see that she is warned by Naomi to stay with his (Boaz s) young women, and that people do not meet you in any other field. So she stayed close by the young women of Boaz, to glean until the end of barley harvest and wheat harvest, and she dwelt with her mother-in-law. Ruth 3:10 Blessed are you of the LORD, my daughter! For you have shown more kindness at the end than at the beginning, in that you did not go after young men, whether poor or rich. Ruth 3:11 And now my daughter do not fear, I will do for you all that you request, for all the people of my town know that you are an Eyshet Chayil (a warrior bride!!). 5
