The majority of health problems come from unconfessed, unforsaken sin. Guilt is one big cause of these health problems. This is not to say that the health problems are all in someone s head. They are real, physical issues but often they were not caused by a break down in the body. Rather, the very real break down in the body is caused by spiritual issues. Our bodies cannot handle things like guilt, worry, bitterness, etc. Either we will confess and get rid of sin or sin will destroy us physically, mentally, and spiritually. If the root cause of an illness is spiritual, then all the medicines in the world will only relieve the symptoms not cure the problem. Even if a specific illness is cured, the body will only breaking out in something else later if the root cause is not dwelt with. This is not to say that all sickness is caused by sin directly. There are other reasons as well, but the majority of our current sicknesses are sin related. The only permanent answer - and the place where we should start - is repentance before Christ. 3. So where do we start in our quest to genuinely rid ourselves of life-destroying guilt? 4. Only in can we be free from guilt. 5. We feel guilty because we are. 1 6. After receiving forgiveness, we are no longer before God and we do not live with shame. Satan will try any trick to keep us from our relationship with Jesus. If he can keep us in shame and guilt, he can destroy our relationship just as effectively as with sin itself. If fact, the shame and guilt - after we have asked for forgiveness - may be the real temptation of which the specific sin was only the introduction. But we are not ignorant of his devices or the power of the Blood of Christ. 23. The Blood of Jesus Christ is more powerful than an sin or addiction. 24. For the Christian, there is no reason to. 25. Our main concern is not our own, but on preventing any further injury to the one we harmed. If we are truly repentant then the focus is not on us. We focus on what is best for the person who was hurt. In some cases, that may mean we fade into the background. As long as we are concerned with our own rights and what is good for us we have not come to real repentance. 35. Receiving forgiveness is possible without restitution. 36. Restitution is replacing whatever we in a person's life plus a fine for our actions. 37. If the law of our nation does not require restitution, we must do it. 4 38. Many offenses, such as murder, rape, kidnapping, adultery, were are so deep that the Bible prescribes punishment as the method of restitution. 40. In cases, we need to turn ourselves in to the law and take the punishment for the crime. If our nations had the courage to enforce Biblical Law, the crime rate would drop to almost zero. We offer restitution as a method of earning forgiveness. Forgiveness can never be earned, it can only be given. 43. Our motivation is to God and to restore what we took as much as we can. 44. Anyone who is a genuine victim of our actions must be treated with repentance and restitution to the degree they were. 45. The busy bodies can be. We have to be careful not to pick up the offenses of others. Busy bodies complicate and worsen the situation. They will be judged by God. We always work toward restitution and restoration. We do not become offended by the actions of others which do not affect us. We can destroy our own health by taking on the burdens of others.
