PERFECT FAITH PERFECT LOVE PERFECT FEAR By Apostle J.P. For ye received not the spirit of bondage Again unto fear Ω Romans 8:15 There is no fear in love: but perfect Love casteth out fear Ω I John 4:18 Have you ever been to the World of Wondering? The Lord has been speaking to me again since 3 A.M. this morning about the connection between faith, love and fear and all of the above scriptures came to mind. There are many more but these are given so that you may make the connection. Now it s important to understand that there are two spirits of fear one is from the Lord and is a portion of the Seven-fold Spirit of God. This Spirit is referred to as the Spirit of Fear of the Lord and is attributed to the Messiah in Isaiah 11 where we first get a glimpse of the Seven-fold Spirit that was typed by the Candlestick holder in the Tabernacle of Moses. This Spirit of Fear is Perfect Fear because it is from God and gives glory to God. But naturally the devil has his counterfeit of the Spirit of Fear and it is a spirit of fear and intimidation. This spirit is of the lower class of evil spirits that are confined to the earth known as servient spirits and it works with other demonic spirits to attack the human race but primarily Christians. And although it can function with many evil spirits, we normally see its operation primarily in two ways: (1) working with the spirits such as cancer that cause disease and destruction, and (2) working with the spirits of control such as Jezebel and Athaliah. One thing I ve learned during the past 30 years of ministry is that even the average Christian does not understand the
extent to which they are controlled or manipulated by the devil. That is why deliverance ministry is so needed in the Body of Christ today and why the Lord said in 1991: There are more people in America today in need of deliverance than there are in need of healing. Now I think it s very evident how the spirit of fear can lead to a person being controlled and in the case of Christians the devil uses this spirit to prevent us from fulfilling God s plan for our lives as well as many other evil purposes such as preventing your receiving a blessing from the Lord or stepping out in your ministry calling. This occurs in many ways but one way that I ve witnessed for years has to do with it attacking your faith. Paul wrote, Not all have faith. And, unfortunately, I ve learned that too few Christians have developed their faith from the Scriptures in the promises of God so, for example, when they are attacked by the spirit of cancer they are not able to stand against it and they die. Remember what I ve preached and taught for years there are only two things that can keep you from receiving any promise of God given to you in the Scriptures by covenant and the devil is not one of them they are sin and unbelief. And the Apostle Peter gave the secret to receiving you just flat must Resist him [the devil] standing firm in your faith. (1 Peter 5:9) But now don t forget this part; you won t be able to obey this verse of Scripture if you ve not developed your faith by hearing the word! And, unfortunately, most Christians don t develop their faith; they have T.V. faith developed from watching too much of Days of Our Lives. So they are not able to obey this Scripture and when they are diagnosed with cancer they enter the World of Wondering a world designed by Satan to destroy them. They begin to wonder I wonder when God is going to heal me, Brother Timmons. I know He still heals today but when is He going to heal me? And all of their wondering leads to wavering which is sin and unbelief:
A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Ω James 1:8 I wonder if I should have the chemo, Brother Timmons. The whole church prayed and we feel led to go ahead with it. But then they always die a few months later so were they being led by the Holy Spirit? No, they were led by the spirit of wondering (unbelief) and it destroyed them. They were not able to be a doer of the word that Peter outlined to follow on how to resist these evil spirits. Now one of the reasons this is so prevalent today, my brothers and sisters, is because the Church is not perfected in love, (Gk., agape) because if they were they would not have any fear as the Scripture listed above states perfect love casts out all fear. Fear brings bondage but we ve been freed from all bondage by the Spirit, praise God! So why don t we act like it? Why do we allow the devil to take us on a frightening tour of the World of Wondering? Why can t we just believe the Bible? When the Lord spoke to me in October, 1991, regarding these things He also affirmed something I d been preaching in churches for years because I d seen it, i.e., most Christians simply flat don t believe the Bible. They say that they do but their actions portray a different picture their actions, dear friends, display a scene from the World of Wondering. And if you stay in the World of Wondering then you will be unable to please God because only faith faith in the Word pleases Him and that s why He gave us all those exceeding great and precious promises. I want to encourage you today not only to develop your faith in these areas and believe the Word but also to develop agape love. How do you do that? By reading and meditating on the Scriptures, specifically in this fruit of love (or any of the other Fruits of the Spirit) in the
Scriptures pertaining to love such as 1 Corinthians 13. Develop your faith in all the promises of God and just stand on them firm in your faith. In 1980 the Lord said to me: Son, the devil is going to put cancer on more and more Christians and we ve really seen this come to pass. But as I wrote in the Second Edition of Mysterious Secrets of the Dark Kingdom specifically regarding what the Holy Spirit showed me in 2008 as being how Satan was defeating Christians in the area of healing, especially where cancer is concerned, by deceiving them into not obeying 2 Corinthians 4:18 and, in fact, getting them to do the opposite! For we look not at the things which are seen, but at the Things which are not seen; for the things which are Seen are temporal [temporary]; but the Things which are not seen are eternal. You see the devil leads them into the World of Wondering because every day when they get up they examine their body and they look at the tumors that are still there they allow the devil into deceiving them like he tried to do Jesus by changing one word in the Scriptures; they take the word not out and they look at the things which are seen instead of standing firm in faith and not being moved by what they see. They continue to go to the doctor and he says, The tumor has grown so they wonder and vacillate between the truth the Word of God those exceeding precious promises that are better than gold and what their physical eyes see, i.e., the tumors. Do you see it? And, unfortunately, the Word is clear about what happens when we enter the World of Wondering: Let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of of the Lord. (James 1:7)
I m a scientist and an engineer by education and yet I can honestly say, because it s the truth and I ve preached it for years: Show me any scientific fact and I can change it with my faith. After all, it s a scientific fact that an ax head cannot float, the dead cannot be raised or that a man can t walk on water, isn t it? Now if I were you I d memorize these verses of Scripture, meditate on them day and night and burn them into your spirit so that if the devil comes to attack you, a family member or friend as he surely will then you ll know what to do about it. If you will develop perfect faith, perfect love and perfect fear, my brothers and sisters, then your days in the World of Wondering will be over and your life will be such a blessing to the Lord and others. You will have entered into the rest promised in Hebrews. Praise the Lord!
