Alfonse Ghaly Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy Ayman Dawoud Bachelor Degree in Advertising Over 20 years of management and leadership experience. I also have past experience in fundraising a well as working with the board in decision making with the grace and blessing of our Lord. My primary aim is to get our Church SGSA more involved in Canadian Community through campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR, including different appropriate tools, materials and presentations.

Magdy Mekhail Maged Naguib B. Sc. Electric power Engineering B. Sc. I believe this will be beneficial in that position. Cleaning. Youth ministry. Community Centre to provide a variety of services to Miltonians both Egyptians and Non- Egyptians as well as new comers to Milton. In term I, as member of The Board of Directors and with collaborative efforts by members of The Engineering Committee, we achieved the first milestone in the new property on Steeles Avenue to renovate the existing building to accommodate Sunday School service and Youth Ministry. My plan for term II is to support The Board of Directors and lead The Engineering Committee to achieve the following milestones: Establish future vision for the development of our new property on Steeles Avenue and ensure that our church s needs in the next twenty years are satisfied. Work with the Architect of Record to complete a master plan for the new property to meet our medium and long- term goals. Liaise with The Town of Milton in coordination with the Architect to obtain all necessary approvals and permits for the Site Plan and subsequent phases. Work with the Finance Committee to establish medium and long term financial plans to match construction phases. Complete detailed design and tender package for phase I of new complex. Initiate construction for phase I of new complex.

Mariam Wassef P.Eng, PMP Mary Roufail Bachelor of Arts I believe I can serve my church by utilizing my 19 years of multidisciplinary experience in multi-national companies (Engineering, Project Management, Real Estate and Business Management) in the planning and building of our Church. As a PMP (Project management professional) my negotiation and communication skills allow me to build a good relationship with everyone inside the community and outside. It also allows me to understand the needs of our congregation, to bring those needs to discussion table and to work together as a team to fulfill such needs. As a Certified Engineer (P.Eng), Project Management Professional (PMP), Real Estate Broker and a Business woman, I can serve our Church with out-of-the-box ideas, dealing with communities outside the church and connections with the city halls, banks, insurance companies, business accountants and commercial lawyers. My experience allows me to help in making decisions related to construction such as legal documents, zoning bylaws, building permits, architectural drawings, building materials, etc. Being in business for 11 years in Ontario, I can easily help in seeing the big picture and create new ideas that can open new channels for generating income to the church. The youth Ministry program gave me the opportunity to learn more about the adolescents & their ministries. As Admin with leadership, planning & time Management skills I can help in any of the church projects. I am blessed and honored to be part of the church of SGSA. It s a great blessing to live & deliver the word of God. I am passionate about Bible Study, Outreach the most and all the other services as well. Mission: To Serve Our Lord s Church for the Glory of His Holy Name and for the future of our beloved children. Vision: As a mother of two young kids soon to become youth, I am hoping to sustain a spiritual, loving, safe and comfortable environment for the entire congregation of SGSA (kids, youth, adults and seniors). I am happy to see my church (SGSA) grow from 20 families 2008 to 350 families today. I am proud to see that the SGSA family remains welcoming to new families who choose Milton to be their new home. Being a mother of two kids yet to be youth, I believe the church is our Noah s Ark that will shelter us and our kids and bring us to safety. I had the blessing of serving at my Church in Egypt (Arch Angel Michael) from 1994 till 2004. When I moved to Canada, God granted me to continue serving at St. Mary & St. Athanasius Church. I am proud to see some of the kids I served becoming our youth and servants at SGSA. When we joined SGSA, I served at Sunday school and later with the Fundraising Team.

Medhat Malak Bachelor-tourism &hotel management I can assist in building IT infrastructure in the new building. I am passionate about serving the church in the technical stud such as maintenance and IT projects Mikhail Hanna PhD Civil Engineering Project Management Specialization I have a strong background in construction, engineering, finance, cost management, estimating and business planning. I have been involved in Sunday School and youth ministry since 1998 I am humbled by your consideration in this nomination process. I would be more than happy to serve the Church in any capacity that you deem appropriate or is necessary. The personal statement below outlines areas where I have been blessed to work with others in the church. Over 25 years ago, my parents made the tough decision to immigrate to Canada, from Egypt, in pursuit of a better life for themselves and their children. Growing up in a Western culture while holding on to strong Christian and family values is a testament to the work ethics and determination of my parents. As a parent now, my wife (who is a first generation Canadian-Egyptian), and I strive to build the same strong ethical Christian values while navigating and integrating in the community we live in. I believe that our Church can offer a great deal of knowledge and value to our congregation and community; we have a unique opportunity in Milton to expand beyond our boarders and share the Good News with others. Being a younger congregation, we can leverage the experience and knowledge of those who have come before us to strengthen families through knowledge and mentorship.

Nivine Mikhail Bachelor of Science & Education Rafik Zaki B. Sc. Engineering After 36 years being a teacher, supervisor, superintendent of chemistry, I learned to be flexible, committed, positive, prepared, and solution-oriented. With engineering education and practical background, I can help the church on technical services such as engineering and/or maintenance I think I would qualify for public relations officer, being retired and flexible in time to work with the board team to understand the factors of church success, establishing policies and rules, managing performance and strategic planning with legal compliance to ensure the church core mission is fulfilled and build a strong congregation Engineering: working with engineering team on planning and implementing SGSA future projects within time lines, available funds and church services needs. Maintenance & facilities: work with maintenance team on conducting preventive maintenance schedules and do repairs when needed. Ensure that facilities that owned by church are served well and safe for use by church congregation.

Ragy Sharkawy Master of Business Administration I have had the benefit of working on many complex projects that are multi-functional in nature. In addition to managing scope and cost, I often consider long term strategic goals as part of problem resolution. Both my education and employment have trained me well to work in a team environment, all while holding others accountable. I hope these skills will be of benefit to our church as part of the next stages in planning for the future. I am often reminded by the words of H.H. Pope Shenouda III, in that a Church without youth is a Church without future; and a youth without Church is a youth without a future. The youth of today face unprecedented pressures that not only challenge their faith, but also core values that held higher regard in past generations. Additionally, while the use of social media has increased connectivity, we see many becoming less connected to their faith, the church and sometimes, to God Himself. As such, it is imperative that we continue utilizing the right resources and means in reaching out to our youth, all while maintaining a personal relationship that allows them to experience God s love. A positive, personal and spiritual experience within the Church will effectively encourage our youth to play an active role in Her future. Samar Abdelsayed M.A.Sc. - Electrical and Computer Engineering In my current role as a product owner, I overlook the start to finish of the research, development and launch of high profile services (e.g. Alert Ready Service soon to launch Canada wide). In this capacity, I extensively use and develop the following skills that I believe could benefit our church tremendously: managing government/regulatory relations bringing teams together to define, develop and deliver products and services leadership, communication and reporting ensuring resourcing, equipment and materials are lined up for timely execution defining communication specifics and timelines Samar Abdelsayed is a devout Coptic Orthodox Christian born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. Since immigrating to Canada with her parents in 2003, she has been serving in Sunday School (grades 4-6) at a number of churches of the diocese. She authored the Coptic Orthodox Elementary Sex Education Curriculum for parents and Sunday school teachers that was developed and presented under the guidance of H.G. Bishop Mina and Fr Maximus. Since 2015, she has been the government liaison for the summer job program that funds the church summer camp. Samar has also been actively volunteering in the seniors community service at the Chapel in Mississauga. Samar s educational background is in Electronics and Computer Engineering, she speaks four languages and is a certified project manager, professional engineer and Six Sigma Greenbelt.

Samer Fahmy Honors University Degree & currently Executive Education In terms of my education, I hold a business degree with a double major in finance and marketing. Having a strong financial background is crucial as it is an important driver of analysis when negotiating. My marketing experience would be beneficial, as one of the things our church looks to do is brand itself within our community and city. Some of the strategies and tactics learned in theory can be applied to this objective. Employment-wise I deal with multiple individuals and companies on a daily basis. This has fine-tuned my speaking and listening skills, as well as, my overall ability to digest information and provide feedback. I believe my strong communication skills would help the church and the board in making sound decisions. Waleed Banoub Bachelor of Architect Support in any architectural or construction work or renovations for the new and old church. The most is the deacons service (hymns, tasbeha, Coptic and liturgy prayers). Within our Church I am passionate about Youth Ministry. I have been a Sunday School servant at SGSA for 4 years. Prior to this, I was also a servant in other churches for about 10 years. It has been a blessing to have spent so much of my young life in this aspect of service. As the late H.H. Pope Shenouda said, A church without youth is a church without future. Ensuring that our sons and daughters are firm in their faith and engaged with their church is crucial within a society that is rapidly evolving. We need to help them establish and grow their relationship with Christ in an environment they love; to sow and grow their fruits, which will lead them to the eternal life in the heavenly Jerusalem.
