O Master, Let Me Walk with Thee Hymn # 665
O Master, let me walk with Thee In lowly paths of service free; Tell me Thy secret; help me bear The strain of toil, the fret of care.
Help me the slow of heart to move By some clear, winning word of love; Teach me the wayward feet to stay, And guide them in the homeward way.
Teach me Thy patience! still with Thee In closer, dearer company, In work that keeps faith sweet and strong, In trust that triumphs over wrong;
In hope that sends a shining ray Far down the future s broad ning way, In peace that only Thou canst give, With Thee, O Master, let me live.
Loving God, Loving each other. Serving Je-sus, He s our friend. Loving God, Loving each other. We know His Love will never end. Repeat
THE CALL TO WORSHIP from Zephaniah 3
Minister: Sing aloud; shout! Rejoice and exult with all your heart!
People: The Lord has taken away the judgments against you; He has cleared away your enemies. The Lord is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.
Minister: The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty One who will save;
People: He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.
Congregational Prayer of Confession ALL: Lord, we have not always watched for You, but have occupied ourselves with our own concerns. We have not waited to find Your will for us.
We have not noticed the needs of the people around us. We have not acknowledged the love that has been shown to us.
Forgive us for our lack of watchfulness. Help us to wait to know Your will. Help us to look out for the needs of others.
Help us to work and watch for Your coming. Lord Jesus, hear our prayers.
SILENT PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING AND CONFESSION
Words of Assurance and Pardon of the Gospel (Isaiah 55:6-7)
Minister: Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the LORD, that He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
