Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick The Sacrament of the Sick is a healing sacrament of the Church. Anyone who is sick or elderly and in need of physical or emotional healing can come to this sacrament which will be communally celebrated annually. Those who would like to receive the sacrament before a hospital stay or surgery are invited to call the Parish Office to make arrangements. The sacrament is also available to those who may be near death. Please call the parish emergency line. Someone will respond to your call. Please inform the Parish Office when a member of the parish is hospitalized. Considering Entering the Catholic Church? RCIA is the process through which adults are fully initiated into the Catholic faith community. The process provides for different levels of entry. Sacrament of Reconciliation Every Saturday, 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., or by appointment. Sacrament of Matrimony One of the engaged or his/her parents must be a registered and active parishioner for six months prior to scheduling a wedding. Scheduling must take place at least six months in advance of the wedding. Weddings are not scheduled during Advent or Lenten Seasons. A marriage preparation program is required. We are still able to take reservations, but you are on your own for transportation. The cost is $15 for bus riders and $10 for those who prefer to drive themselves. DOMINIC-DELHI KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS The St. Dominic-Delhi Knights of Columbus will be selling tickets for the K of C Super Cash Bonanza Raffle after all Masses this weekend March 16/17. This is a statewide raffle with over $100,000 in prizes awarded to twenty-five winners. First prize is $49,680 (payable over ten years), second prize is $18,780 (payable over five years), and third prize is $12,720 (payable over five years). There are another twenty-two cash prizes, all paid out when won, ranging from $4,000 to $750. Tickets are $5 each. DOMINIC NEWS EDUCATION COMMISSION SEEKING CANDIDATES The St. Dominic Education Commission is seeking at least three candidates for the three-year term beginning next academic year. The time commitment is one meeting per month during the school year, in addition to volunteering at the School Open House in January, the February Las Vegas Night, and the Festival. There are also additional opportunities to serve on subcommittees of the Commission as they arise. Induction of new members will take place at the May meeting. The primary function of the Education Commission is to recommend and determine policies that authorize and guide educational programs promoting the achievement of parish objectives. The Education Commission monitors and evaluates the implementation of the educational policies in the parish and is a support mechanism for the administration of St. Dominic School. The Commission consists of nine voting members elected annually for a three-year term. Meetings are held the second Monday of every month, September through May, in the school library at 7:00 p.m.

MISCELLANEOUS ST. WILLIAM LENTEN SERIES The St. William Lenten Series proudly presents: Catholicism: A Journey to the Heart of the Faith by Bishop Robert Barron. This inspiring, awardwinning series explores God s relationship with humanity, the teachings of Jesus, Mary the Mother of God, the mysteries of the Eucharist, and much more. Each presentation will last about an hour, allowing for questions and dialogue. LAY PASTORAL MINISTRY PROGRAM The Archdiocesan sponsored Lay Pastoral Ministry Program will offer two years of undergraduate equivalency coursework in scripture, theology, doctrine and pastoral studies at St. Ignatius parish, beginning August 24. The program is designed for busy adults with Saturday classes, flexible components and a supportive environment. The LPMP provides a solid foundation for professional and volunteer ministry and for applying to the Permanent Diaconate. Graduate options are available at the main campus in Mt. Washington.
