Church of Christ India Mission Work Work Report Newsletter December 2017 Romans 16:16 Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you. Greetings Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. The churches of Christ in India salute you. Grace, Peace, Mercy and Love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. We hope and pray you and your families are doing well and have had a wonderful Christmas. As this year comes to an end and we reflect upon the past year, The Church of Christ India Mission Work has so very blessed to be able to do many wonderful gospel works through your kind love and support during 2017. We thank God for you and your continued love, concern, prayers, and kind support. Through God s blessings your kind support has enabled us to accomplish many good works and reach our goals of proclaiming the gospel to the unsaved and helping to provide for the daily needs of the needy saints here in India. We thank God for blessing us through you to be able to accomplish these good works for the glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are praying for blessings of good health, much happiness and great prosperity for you and your family in the upcoming 2018 year! Happy New Year to you and your family! We hope you enjoy and are blessed through reading this newsletter work report. Please respond with at least a few words your replies are so very encouraging to us!

During the month of December, we were blessed to be able to drill a borewell for one of our congregations the church of Christ at Bimavaram village. The Christians in this village had been walking for miles to get clean drinking water for their daily needs. Thanks be to God and to the kind support of Brothers Craig and Ryan, USA, the members of this congregation will no longer have to walk long distances to get clean, fresh water. We had an opening ceremony for this borewell where we provided snacks and treats to the children and all enjoyed the fresh, clean water coming from the well.

We provided blankets to a poor widow in one of our congregations. She was very thankful for the nice blankets to help keep her warm during the cold winter nights here. We also provided blankets to the poor and widows in one of the congregations in a fishing village we help support in the Krishna District where my father-in-law preaches the gospel. My wife, Pravallika, distributed blankets to the old widows and poor members of this congregation.

Through your kind support, we were able to conduct preacher Bible study training this month for the preachers in our congregations to help them gain a greater knowledge and understanding of God s Word. Along with a study of God s Word, we provided the preachers with a nutritious meal, cooked by my mother, Sister Santha. We also gifted them with new clothing for the Christmas and New Year season. They were very thankful for the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of God s Word through our Bible study and for the meal and new clothing we provided for the New Year.

During the month, we provided a nutritious meal to members of one of our most needy congregations. Many who shared the meal were poor old widows and orphans. We also provided rice to the church members to help provide nourishment for their bodies for the next couple of weeks. Before eating the meal and distributing the rice, we gifted them with a lesson from the gospel to nourish and strengthen their souls. We thank you so much for your kind love and support which enabled us to provide these basic needs to the poor in our congregations.

As in previous months, we continued to provide a monthly supply of food to two families with leprosy in one of our congregations. As always, these families were so happy and thankful to God and to you for your love, concern and support to them to help keep them from starving and to help nourish and heal their bodies.

We were again able to provide several old preachers with a little money to help them this month, thanks to your kind support. They use the money to provide food and daily needs for their families and for medications they need for their sicknesses and afflictions. They thank God, you and us each month we visit and gift them with this help. We also provided new clothing to some of the preachers for the Christmas and New Year.

We have been so very blessed this year through your kind love, care, concern and support. We want to thank you for supporting us in our efforts to proclaim the gospel and care for the needy saints here in India during 2017. We could not have accomplished all these amazing works without your support. We look forward to accomplishing even more in the upcoming year with God s blessings and your kind support to our mission work. We were able to proclaim the gospel to the lost and gave 19 baptisms during 2017. Praise the Lord for these souls added to Christ s body. We drilled borewells for 7 of our congregations this year. We are thanking God for the fresh, clean water for the members of our congregations and for the Living Water to all who come to get water and hear the gospel proclaimed. We thank you for your support that made these borewells possible for our congregations. We were able to provide food for two families with leprosy each month during the 2017 year 12 months of nutritious food to help strengthen and heal their afflicted bodies.

Thanks to your concern and support, we were able to feed nutritious meals and provide rice to the old widows, orphans, and poor in our most needy congregations during the 2017 year. We were able to provide blankets to old widows and orphans and poor members of our congregations during the winter seasons in the 2017 year, thanks to your love, concern and support. By the Grace of God and your loving support, we were able to make four mission trips into the isolated forest regions to proclaim the gospel to the lost living in the villages there. Your support makes it possible for us to water and nourish the gospel seed which we have planted in these remote forest villages.

Through your kind support, we were able to build a prayer shed for one of our congregations that was conducting worship services out in the open. We later were able to build walls to this prayer shelter to keep out the elements and wild animals. thanks to kind support from our USA brethren. Brother Craig and Brother Ryan, USA, visited us and partnered with us to do many amazing things for our Lord in the tribal congregations.

Other News and Events My dear wife and I celebrated our first year wedding anniversary on December 10. This past year has been a wonderful journey of good times and difficult times for us. But, we are thanking God that we have been so blessed through it all. Our first year together as husband and wife has been truly wonderful. Our precious baby, Elizabeth, has been through serious illness this past year. We thank God He brought her through it and she is now doing well. She is now gaining weight and growing well. Thank you for all your prayers for her health and well being.

Other News and Events Our GoFundMe borewell campaign, Bring Water to Christians in India, has been open since July 5, 2017 and, as of the writing of this newsletter, the total amount raised remains at $510 of the $2700 goal. If you are able and would like to contribute to help us provide borewells to our congregations, please visit the campaign page at the link below. Please remember that no donation is too great nor too small any amount would be greatly appreciated. Again, many thanks to our Sister in Christ and the TOPPS PR Firm for setting up this campaign to help us meet the need for clean drinking water for our congregations! https://www.gofundme.com/bringwatertoindia Our Website If you have not already done, so, please take a look at our website. www.churchofchristindiamission.org

Other News and Events Our gospel ministry has grown over the past several years to include 15 tribal village congregations. We are also striving to establish and support additional congregations in other villages and in the isolated forest regions in Andhra Pradesh. As most all members in our congregations are very poor, depend on us to provide for their daily needs and unable to contribute to the Lord s work, we rely greatly on your kind support to accomplish all the work we do and to meet the goals we have established for our gospel mission work. We would like to again request that you pray for our mission work and pray that we will continue to be able to support the congregations we have established and are working to establish. We cannot do it without your kind love, support and prayers. In addition to your prayers, we would like to humbly ask that you continue to support our mission work in the upcoming year, Lord willing and you are able. We would also humbly ask that you kindly share this newsletter and the gospel work we are doing with your church elders and leadership. Please request and encourage them to consider including support for our mission work in the upcoming year s budget if at all possible and Lord willing. You may give them my contact information if they are interested. I would be very happy to speak to them regarding the work we do. Thank you so very much for your continued support and all the assistance you are able to give us in obtaining much-needed additional support for the gospel work we are doing here in India.

Other News and Events Feeding the Starving Orphans and Widows in our Congregations We have two congregations that are still needing a borewell to provide fresh, clean drinking water for the members and their families. The church members are having to walk for long distances to obtain clean drinking water. It would be a great blessing to the members of these congregations to have a borewell to keep them from having to walk long distances to get water for their daily needs. Please consider supporting our mission work for one of these needed borewells or requesting your local congregation to help support us in our efforts to provide drinking water to the members of these congregations. Prayer Shed During the winter season in India, it is especially very difficult for the poor to obtain food for their daily bread. Therefore, we try to help them as much as possible with meals and rice to keep them from starving. We have many hungry orphans and old widows in the different congregations we serve. Please join us in helping to provide rice for these orphans and widows during this winter season. Borewells for Two Additional Congregations We have plans to start a congregation in a rural village where there is no church of Christ. In order to do this, we first need to build a prayer shed to serve as a sheltered, central place for worship services. There is a great need to preach and teach the gospel in this remote village where the True gospel has not yet been preached. Please consider supporting our efforts to build this prayer shed for this village and to start a muchneeded congregation here. Please contact me if you would like to help support one of these targeted needs for our mission work.

Other News and Events While we are focusing for the upcoming month on the targeted needs of rice for the orphans and widows, borewells and prayer sheds, our gospel ministry continues to have many other needs which you may be interested in learning more about and supporting, if possible. Return Mission Trips to the Forest Areas - There is a great need for us to return to the forest areas to nourish and further develop the gospel seed which we have planted on our previous visits. Currently, we are only able to afford to go into the forest areas to proclaim the gospel once every three or four months. We very much need to be able to fund at least one forest area mission trip each month. Preacher Bible Study Training - Our ministry currently provides preacher training sessions one time per month in our home. There is a great need for us to increase the frequency of these sessions to at least two times per week. It is very difficult to provide the in-depth bible study and training that is needed with only one session per month. Sewing Machine Training Center My mother conducts sewing machine training classes one time per month in our home. We would very much like to increase these classes in frequency to at least 2-3 times per month. Also, we need additional sewing machines in the center to be able to train additional women from our congregations at one time. PLEASE PRAY FOR THESE NEEDS OF OUR GOSPEL MISSION WORK. Thank you so very much, in advance, for your kind consideration and support for these needs for our gospel work. If you have any questions or would like further information about our work or any of these needs, or if you would like to contribute to support any of these needs for our mission work, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your prayers and your kind consideration.
