Congress Classes and Descriptions I. Children s Division CD 0015 Discover God s Word Ages 3-5 Sections A and B This class deals with the importance of building a relationship with God. This class is a Bible-based journey that covers God, Jesus, and other men and women of the Old and New Testament. Students will investigate God s plan for their lives. This class is a Bible-based journey that covers exploring God s character, learning His many names, and experiencing His nature in our lives. Students will investigate God s plan for their lives. Textbook: Getting to Know God II. Youth and Young Adult Division YD 0010 Study God s Plan Ages 9-11 Sections A, B, and C This class deals with the importance of building a relationship with God. YD 0030 Boy s Abstinence Ages 12-14 This class gives scriptural advice on how to save sex for marriage. This class discusses what God says about sex, what the world says and why youth should wait to have sex before marriage. This class also talks about the effects that having sex before marriage. YD 0080 Praise Dancing in the Baptist Church Ages 12-18 (2 per church) This class is designed to introduce and develop the ministry of dancing in the Baptist church. This class will describe the fundamentals of dancing as well as techniques for dancing effectively. YD 0090 Miming in the Baptist Church Ages 12-18 (2 per church) This class is designed to introduce and develop the ministry of dancing in the Baptist church. YD 0100 Drill Teams in the Baptist Church Ages 12-18 (2 per church) This class is designed to introduce and develop Drill Teams in the Baptist church. This class will describe the fundamentals of marching and being disciplined in the Christian setting. III. Adult Division AD 0100 Women of the Bible Ages 21 on up This class is designed for adult women. This class deals with the women of the Bible and will provide Biblical insight of what to do and not to do as a Christian woman. The morning class will focus on the fundamental basis of Mime. Makeup, song choice, timing, transition, lead parts, etc., are just a few topics that will be taught. The combined afternoon class for Youth and Adults will introduce the song that will be ministered at the end of the conference. The items of focus will be the part of the song that will be ministered by the Mime, as well as the transition. GUIDELINES The Class is open to Youth ages of 12-18. -register to ensure enough space is provided ome of the choreography.
