Congress Classes and Descriptions I. Children s Division CD 0015 Discover God s Word Ages 3-5 Sections A and B This class deals with the importance of building a relationship with God. This class is a Bible-based journey that covers God, Jesus, and other men and women of the Old and New Testament. Students will investigate God s plan for their lives. Textbook: Big Book of Bible Story Activity Pages #2 CD 0025 Follow Jesus Ages 6-8 Sections A, B, and C This class deals with the importance of building a relationship with God and knowing God personally. This class is a Bible-based journey that covers exploring God s character, learning His many names, and experiencing His nature in our lives. Students will investigate God s plan for their lives. Textbook: Getting to Know God II. Youth and Young Adult Division YD 0010 Study God s Plan Ages 9-11 Sections A, B, and C This class deals with the importance of building a relationship with God. This class is a Bible-based journey that covers stories told by Jesus and their importance. Students will investigate God s plan for their lives. Textbook: 13 Very Cool Stories and Why Jesus Told Them YD 0020 Can I Have Faith as a Teen? Ages 12-14 Sections A, B, and C This class is designed for teens seeking a firm faith foundation and those who know what they believe and why. This class is to equip the teens for life as a Christian. Textbook: Instant Bible Lessons for PreTeens

YD 0030 Boy s Abstinence Ages 12-14 This class gives scriptural advice on how to save sex for marriage. This class discusses what God says about sex, what the world says and why youth should wait to have sex before marriage. This class also talks about the effects that having sex before marriage. This class is designed specifically for boys. Textbook: True Love Waits YD 0040 Girl s Abstinence Ages 12-14 This class gives scriptural advice on how to save sex for marriage. This class discusses what God says about sex, what the world says and why youth should wait to have sex before marriage. This class also talks about the effects that having sex before marriage. Textbook: True Love Waits YD 0050 Being a Teenager FIT for the World Ages 15-16 Youth grow when the Word of God is instilled within them along with principles of how to live in this world. This class is packed with Biblical truths, thought provoking applications, and real-life scenarios that will enrich their lives not only spiritually, but physically as well.. Textbook: Teacher Prepared Materials YAD 0060 Finding Your Purpose Ages 16-20 This class is designed for high school seniors and college students who get a chance to get a taste of the real world. This class gives advice on what is needed to find your purpose and to understand the Biblical foundations of our beliefs. Textbook: Teacher Prepared Materials

YD 0080 Praise Dancing in the Baptist Church Ages 12-18 (2 per church) This class is designed to introduce and develop the ministry of dancing in the Baptist church. This class will describe the fundamentals of dancing as well as techniques for dancing effectively. YD 0090 Miming in the Baptist Church Ages 12-18 (2 per church) This class is designed to introduce and develop the ministry of dancing in the Baptist church. This class will describe the fundamentals of dancing as well as techniques for dancing effectively. YD 0100 Drill Teams in the Baptist Church Ages 12-18 (2 per church) This class is designed to introduce and develop Drill Teams in the Baptist church. This class will describe the fundamentals of marching and being disciplined in the Christian setting. III. Adult Division AD 0100 Women of the Bible Ages 21 on up This class is designed for adult women. This class deals with the women of the Bible and will provide Biblical insight of what to do and not to do as a Christian woman. This class deals with the topics that men deal with and how they can be effective models in the Baptist church. Textbook: Teacher Prepared Materials

IV. Minister s Division MD 1000 Minister s Class All Ministers, Preachers, and Pastors This class is designed for all ministers, preachers, and pastors. This class discusses the job of preaching the Word of God and the life of being a Servant in the Church, through preaching and teaching the Word. This class gives suggestions and advice on how to do God s will decent and in order. Textbook: Teacher Prepared Materials

The morning class will focus on the fundamental basis of Mime. Makeup, song choice, timing, transition, lead parts, etc., are just a few topics that will be taught. The combined afternoon class for Youth and Adults will introduce the song that will be ministered at the end of the conference. The items of focus will be the part of the song that will be ministered by the Mime, as well as the transition. GUIDELINES The Class is open to Youth ages of 12-18. -register to ensure enough space is provided ome of the choreography. If you have a physical limitation, you must advise the director at the beginning of the workshop. allow free movement during the class. -fitting clothing that will All participants that wish to minister on Wednesday afternoon are required to bring the following garments that the instructor will require you to have. during the workshop.
