THE POWER OF HIS WORD Introduction Do you feel that being a Christian in today s society is getting more difficult with each passing year? We see different physical and spiritual challenges of every shape and form. Mainstream media is filled with programs that go against our Christian values. Our educational system is now geared toward widespread secularism. Our government lacks strong leadership that should have directed our nation towards a better civilization. Even in our own churches, we see people who just don t have the courage and conviction to stay true to their Christian calling. With so many things that may confront our faith and make us stumble in our Christian walk, it has been a big struggle to stay committed and dedicated to the way of life God has called us to live by. Now that we know the problem, what should our response be as a Christian?

It is so powerful to the extent that the word of God is likened to a two-edged sword. This means that every intent, motivation, and thought behind every action is open to God. There is nothing hidden from His eyes.
In short, the word of God shows us right from wrong, good from evil, and truth from falsehood. The word of God should be our ultimate guide in living this short existence. God, the Author of the Bible, gave us the roadmap that leads to eternal life. We do not have to be clueless and just experiment our way to happiness and abundance.
