Confraternity Herald Issue 80 February 2019 The Journal of the Confraternity of the Knights of St Peter & St Paul Greeting from Melbourne Dear Confreres and friends of the Confraternity, One month after another and we are getting close to June to commemorate the feast of St. Peter and Paul. But first we have to go through the sadness that Good Friday brings with it; the Crucifixion of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. God willing in June, I will be in Nadur, Gozo, to celebrate with our members in the festivities of St. Peter and Paul. The Grand Prior of Germany, Chevalier Peter Michael Neuen, his wife Chancellor Gabrielle Neuen, and hopefully other members will join us to celebrate and donate money to the Catholic Mission of St. Martin de Porres in Iquitos, Peru. The mission is run by priest and Doctor Fr. Raymond Portelli. This year in Melbourne, the annual celebration to commemorate the feast of our patron saints Peter and Paul, has been brought forward to Sunday 26 th May, before I leave to go to Europe. I hope to hear that some of the chapters will be having some kind of commemoration, either in a Mass or some other gathering. I look forward to hear your plans for this year s celebrations. God bless you in St. Peter and Paul.
