Senior Adult Fellowship Genetics, Genomics & DNA Tuesday, November 6 at 11:00 am Come for a fascinating talk by Dr. Kimberly Jacoby Morris, doctoral fellow at National Institutes of Health. A brief overview of DNA structure and function will be followed by a discussion of how genetics and genomics affect bio-medicine today, including gene sequencing, cloning and editing. Thanksgiving Food Drive November 18-26 Thanksgiving is a time of special gratitude for God s many blessings. Share from your bounty this season! At worship services on November 18-19, November 25-26, and on Thanksgiving Eve we will be collecting non-perishables to help fill boxes for distribution by Lutheran Mission Society (LMS) to help needy families this Christmas. CPR Training November 18 12:30-3:30 pm In an emergency, could you give CPR to someone in need? CPR is a basic skill that everyone should know. Recommended techniques have changed in recent years.
