June 7th @ Holy Trinity ~ July 5th Holy Spirit PASTOR S MESSAGE: World Day of Prayer for Vocations We celebrate the World Day of Prayer for Vocations on the 4th Sunday in Easter, Good Shepherd Sunday. In today's Gospel reading, we hear about the sheep that always know the voice of the shepherd. May we also hear with ears of faith our Shepherd's call to discipleship. Let us pray... Jesus, good and gentle Shepherd, we pray for those among us who hear your voice and call to a vocation in the Church. Help them to be unafraid of that calling from you of service to the universal church. Gift them courage to boldly say yes to your call. Help us to encourage them in their long journey of discernment and formation. We offer our thanks to you for calling us to discipleship in many and various ways, as married men and women, as single men and women, as priests, deacons, and professed men and women. We ask all these things in the name of the Good Shepherd, Jesus, our savior and our brother. Amen. Anyone new to the parish or if you have been attending Mass and would like to receive parish support envelopes, please fill out a registration card located at the church entrances and return to the parish office by mailing it or placing it in the collection basket. The durable medical equipment loan program at Holy Trinity is in need of donations of small shower stools to fit inside of the bathtub. If you have one that you would like to donate please contact the parish office at 762-2636. We thank you for your support of this program. Church of the Holy Spirit & Holy Trinity Catholic Church "Whoever enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice, as the shepherd calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has driven out all his own, he walks ahead of them, and the sheep follow him, because they recognize his voice." - Jn 10:2-4 SAT. 4:00 P.M.
