P. Taylor Asteroid colony "Arcadia" Best Ship Richard Sliwka USS De Haven (DD-727) Judges Best of Show Mark Muller Crossley RAF Fire Tender We anticipate that our 2015 model contest will also be in the fall, so look for updates! A big thank you to all our of our club members who helped out, as well as members from other clubs who helped to judge the contest entries, all our vendors, and all our attendees, plus the Make N Take folks! We could not do it without you! The club did better than break even on expenses and income so we can continue, as in the past, to plan for next year. Make-n-Take: We had about 10 builders - much smaller than previous years as most of Dan Beard Council Scouts were attending a tri-state Jamboree held every 2 years. Show Concessions: The Pack 943 food booth was very successful. The food sales grossed over $750. After reimbursing the club the $400 we advanced them, they still netted just over $350 in profit. This exceeded their expectations and they would very much like to run concessions again next year. 7
