Quranic and Prophetic Nurturing Program Level One Class 12 Date: 28 October 2018 / 19 Safar 1440 Introduction Surah Al Kafiroon Surah Al Ikhlas and Surah Al Kafiroon are recited together, usually in the Fajr Sunnah and after performing tawaf. Both of these surahs are regarding ikhlas. Surah Al Kafiroon is about negation while Surah Al Ikhlas is about affirmation. Surah Al Ikhlas is theoretical tawheed and Surah Al Kafiroon is practical tawheed. Kafiroon comes from (كفر) which means to hide the truth. There are different types of disbelief which include disbelief of arrogance, denial, shirk, mockery, hate and hypocrisy which is the worst type of disbelief. The kafiroon said they will worship Allah and the other year the Muslims would worship their god. A person needs to worship Allah (جل جلاله) with tawheed. Quran Section Surah Al Kafiroon Ayah 1 ق ل ي ا أ ي ه ا الك اف ر ون Say: (O Muhammad صلى هللا عليه وسلم to these Mushrikun and Kafirun): "O Al-Kafirun (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, in His Angels, in His Books, in His Messengers, in the Day of Resurrection, and in Al-Qadar)! This is for the future, I will not worship what you worship. Ayah 5 و ل أ نت م ع ابد ون م ا أ عب د "Nor will you worship that which I worship. They will not worship what the Prophet (ﷺ) worships.
