رسالة : ٦ الد عوة إلى ضبط رسائل رب انية اللسان MESSAGE 6: CALL TOWARDS CONTROL OF THE TONGUE Divine Messages of nurturing The tongue which is guided by Allah will never utter hurtful or harsh words. There is a connection between the tongue and the path taken. If from your Creator على صراط the tongue is guided, the person is { الحميد }, upon the praiseworthy path. و ه د وا Allah الر ب took charge of reforming and nurturing us. 22:24 This is one of the greatest blessings. The nurturing is done with different means, اإليمان باهلل such, faith as in the Allah. قرآن Your and faith,سنة will or even life itself, and the universe around us. Allah is All-Seeing and All-Hearing, watching over everyone. These angels have been given the responsibility to write everything, so that on the Day of Judgment, no one can deny their actions.
The thought that Allah is watching you and the angels are writing everything, is a deterrent to say bad words. ل ي م ا ت ق ف و ل س ل ك ب ه ع ل م إ ن الس م ع و ال ب ص ر و ال ف ؤ ا د ك ل أ ول ئ ك ك ا ن ع ن ه م س ئ و ل And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. I said, Yes, O Messenger of Allah. So he took hold of his tongue and said, Restrain this. I said, O Prophet of Allah, will we be taken to account for what we say with it? He said, May your mother be bereaved of you, O Muadh! Is there anything that throws people into the Hellfire upon their faces or: on their noses except the harvests of their tongues?
Etiquettes of utterances * * * * * Allah : with مع هللا سبحانه و تعالى * * * * * As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force. 18:79 Al-Khadar and Musa عليه الس لم embarked on a ship, and Al-Khadar made a hole in it. When explaining his action to Musa عليه الس لم, he guarded his words while talking about Allah. He didn't attribute making a hole in the }, فاردت أ ن أعيبها { said ship to the decree, or to the command of Allah. He attributing the decision to himself. This is the etiquette of talking about Allah; attribute only good to Allah, and blame yourself for all bad, even though everything is by the decree of Allah. And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience." 18:82 During their travels, Al-Khadar and Musa عليه السالم came upon a village which had very inhospitable people, not willing to help travelers. They عليه saw a wall which was about to collapse, & Al-Khadar rebuilt it. Prior to the birth of the Prophet Mohammad هللا عليه و سلم,صلى the jinn could descend to the heaven and hear the angels discussing their tasks. They carried this news to Earth, to soothsayers. But then they were stopped from this by stars being thrown on them, forcing them to retreat. This confused them, because they did not know whether this was good or evil. They attributed the good to Allah by saying { أراد بهم ربهم رشدا }. They made the evil into passive sense, not attributing it to anyone, by saying.{ أشر أ ريد { ال ذ ي ي ه د ي ن ف ه و خ ل ق ن ي Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me. ه و و ال ذ ي ي ط ع م ن ي و ي س ق ي ن And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink. و إ ذ ا ي ش ف ي ن ف ه و م ر ض ت And when I am ill, it is He who cures me 26:78-80 When Ibrahim عليه السالم spoke about Allah, he said Allah created and guided him, provided for him. But he only attributed the cure to Allah, not the sickness.

Allah advised Musa to use gentle words even with this evil character, giving him a chance to repent. No one is worse than Firaun in your life, so don't give excuses to yourself when using harsh words in any situation. Soft & gentle words melt a hard heart!!!!!

The tongue is the door to the heart; whatever is in the heart will appear on the tongue. This is why faith is so important.
