HAZRAT KHALIFATUL MASIH V (May Allah be his Helper!) FRIDAY SERMON SUMMARY Oct-06-2017 Assalamo alaikum wa Rahmatullah! Syedna Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (aa) delivered his Friday Sermon today in Baitul Futuh London, UK. After reciting Tashahhud, Ta`awwuz and Surah Al-Fatehah, Huzoor Anwar (aa) said: Faith enhancing incidents are presented from time to time Such incidents become a source for increasing one s faith Some Ahmadis who were born into Ahmadiyyat write to me that they, themselves, feel ashamed at seeing the level of faith and relationship with Allah, of those who have newly converted to Ahmadiyyat Those who have newly converted also say that such incidents increase their faith as well But there are also such people living in these developed countries who do not pay any or very little attention to the worship of their Creator Such people do not think or worry about their own religious state and say that these faith enhancing incidents take place only in 3 rd world countries, and why not in these western or developed countries? Huzoor Anwar (aa) said such incidents, in fact, also take place in these western countries. For instance, many new converts here in Britain are shown the signs of truthfulness by Allah We should remember that Allah shows His way to those who seek it When we look at the history of prophets, we see that weak and poor people believe in the prophet of the time and in result increase in spirituality
The Promised Messiah (as) said قل ما یعبو بکم ربی لو لادعاؤکم Say But for your prayers to Him my Lord would not care for you. Those who struggle in the way of Allah, He guides them. Those who seek nearness of Allah are blessed by Him Huzoor Anwar (aa) mentioned various faith enhancing incidents from different parts of the world One of our Missionaries went to preach in a village in Burkina Faso and an elderly lady converted from that village. Our Mosque is 15 Kilometers from that village and there is a stream of flood water in the middle due to which it was difficult to reach the mosque. This elderly lady used to go for Friday Prayers every week but due to this water stream, she would offer her Friday Prayers at the bank of the stream by herself. The Missionary came to know of this a month later. He mentioned this incident and the level of faith of this woman to the people of the village and 130 people converted. A woman in Turkey converted by watching MTA. She says that she used to watch MTA with her husband. She watched many programs on MTA and slowly she became close to Jama at and finally converted. Missionary of Benin writes that 200 people converted in a village. The daughter of the president in that village became sick and everyone had given up hope. She could not move or speak. The Missionary told the people to pray and also wrote to me for prayers and by the Grace of Allah, the girl was fine only a day after. Huzoor Anwar (aa) said that if one says that such incidents are only seen in weak and poor people, it is because these people are in search of faith. They attend such gatherings where the name of Allah is being mentioned; they pray regularly and are truly drawn towards Allah. This is why Allah also blesses them. Huzoor also mentioned the incidents of those who have newly converted and how they remained firm on their faith in the face of opposition. Huzoor Anwar (aa) said that I had instructed the Asylum Seekers that they should do Tabligh. One Asylum Seeker wrote that the on his final hearing,
f Ó the judge asked him, do you hand our leaflets of your Jama at? He replied in the affirmative. The Judge then asked, where do you hand out these leaflets? He said I mentioned the names of a few places and the Judge said yes, I also took a leaflet from you at a certain place. You may go; your case has been accepted. This is how Allah helps those who work in His way. Allah revealed to the Promised Messiah (as) that a time will come when you would become known to the people. This was first revealed in 1883 when no one knew him. Huzoor (as) says is this the work of man? Certainly not. Only Allah know the unseen and He said that people would enter your Jama at and it is by His Grace that people are converting.
