Has not come to them the news of those who were before them, the people of Nuh, and Aad, and Thamud, and the people of Ibrahim and the companions (i.e., dwellers) of Madyan, and the towns overturned? Their Messengers came to them clear proofs. And Allah did not wrong them but they wronged themselves. (the) people (were) before them, (of) those who (the) news come to them Has not and (the) companions (of) Ibrahim and (the) people and Thamud, and Aad, (of) Nuh, their Messengers Came to them and the towns overturned? (of) Madyan, but to wrong them Allah was And not clear proofs. 71. And the believing men and the believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those, Allah will have mercy on them. Indeed, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. Ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will never forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah 80. and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people. Those who remained behind rejoiced in their staying (at home) behind the Messenger of Allah and they disliked to strive their wealth and their lives in the way of Allah and said, Do not go forth in the heat. Say, The Fire of Hell is more intense in heat, if only they could understand. 81. So let them laugh a little and they will weep much as a recompense for what they used to earn. 82. 83. Then if Allah returns you to a group of them and they ask you permission to go out, then say, You will never come out me, ever, and you will not fight me any enemy. Indeed, you were satisfied of the ones who give willingly criticize Those who 78 (of) the unseen? except find not and those who the charities, concerning the believers and for them them, Allah will ridicule them, so they ridicule their effort, (do) not or for them Ask forgiveness 79 painful. They were satisfied to be those who stayed behind, and their hearts were sealed so they do not understand. believed and those who the Messenger But 87 understand. (do) not for them And those, and their lives. 88 (are) the successful ones. they their wealth and those - strove him (are) the good things, 88. But the Messenger and those who believed him strove their wealth and their lives. For them are the good things, and those - they are the successful ones. the rivers, underneath it from flows Gardens for them Allah has prepared And came 89 the great. (is) the success That in it. (will) abide forever Surah 9: The repentance (v. 84-89) 89. Allah has prepared for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great success.

274-90. And those who made excuses among the bedouins came asking permission (to stay behind), and those who had lied to Allah and His Messenger sat (at home). A painful punishment will strike those who disbelieved among them. to them, that permission be granted the bedouins, of those who Will strike and His Messenger. Nor (is their blame) on those who, when they came to you that you provide them mounts, you said, I can find no mounts for you.
