Swimming has several other benefits as it helps one get fit, and fitness is one of those very important parts of human nature. Swimming is not only beneficial for adults but also for

young children like us. Our school organizes several events yearly, one of which is the swimming gala. Theme talk BY Ananya naik and sanjay panicker Theme: dark is beautiful Darkness is a state where it s all black and dark. By ALL I mean everything. We do not see anything and nothing are visible. Fearers of the dark think, in fact, all of us think that the best words that are suitable for dark are negative, fear, and dull. No. All those who think this is wrong. Why? Because dark is beautiful. How? What? Why? Let s take dark clothing. An amazing black swimsuit in summer to relax on the beaches is totally amazing. And a thick black leather jacket during the cold storms is perfect. Eyeballs. What?? Yes. 90% of people s eyes are black. This black corona lets us see the wide and be

a beautiful world. The trees, water, family, in a le word: LIFE. Last but not the least darkness is the source of light. How? It might sound really stupid but unless it s dark we do not on the lights. Yes, if there is no darkness, then you won t bother on the light. A dark pace is lighted because the darkness tells us that its dark, light is needed here because people can t see here. It s an indicator that light is needed. It can also be a lifesaver because imagine there were glass pieces and it was dark. You will obviously on the light and as soon as we see we will not so. See? Dear world, remember Darkness is not negative. It s is a beautiful and amazing the ng and one of the God s great gifts. Ananya naik

Despite the negative conditions, darkness has a powerful and positive spiritual aspect. It has gifts for you if you re willing to explore it. Darkness is infinite fertility. Everything that has not yet come into being is held in darkness the deepest and most unexplored parts of your soul are held in a loving darkness until it is time for you to bring them into the light. To be in the light means to be conscious. There are only so many things that we can deal with on a day to day basis. If we find our burden is too heavy, we can give something over to the darkness until we are ready to deal with it. Darkness has had a bad rap. I m not sure if that s just in our society or if this is the case all around the world. Darkness is helpful in committing a crime to criminals. It can be scary to move in darkness because you can feel unsure of your safety. So there are reasons that people don t like it.

Sometimes even light can be sharp and painful. It illuminates and sharpens our perceptions of certain thins. There are times when we need the sharp relief of our feelings to be gentled. The darkness can hold things we are not yet ready to face, just as the dark soil holds the seed until its ready to come into the light. If you can t accept some aspect of yourself, and want to believe it s not there, you might stuff that part of yourself or that knowledge away where you can t see it. Darkness will not hold something past its time. You may find that it keeps bringing that thing back to you to be looked at. In my opinion, this is what we call the shadow, an aspect of darkness that is really more about the way we use darkness for avoidance. Sanjay Paniker
