Matthew 1:21 Finish each word of the last half of this verse to find the answer.... f h w s h p f t s. Where was Jesus born? Luke 2:4-6; Matthew 2:1 Use the alphabet code below to decode the answer. To prophesy means to tell, by divine inspiration, what is going to happen in the future. The birth of Jesus was prophesied in the Old Testament hundreds of years before Jesus was born. Where did the prophet say Jesus was to be born? Matthew 2:5 & 6; Micah 5:2

3 Micah 5:2 But you, Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of, from everlasting. Judah was one of the 12 sons of Jacob. Hundreds of years later the families of the sons of Jacob became tribes, so there is a tribe of Judah. The verse we just read in Micah says that Jesus would be born of the descendents of the tribe of Judah. Was Jesus born of the descendents of Judah? Matthew 1:1, 2, 6, 15, 16 The book of the genealogy of, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham. (2) Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot and his brothers.... (16) And Jacob begot the husband of, of whom was born who is called. Was Jesus born in a hospital like some of us were? Luke 2:7 Circle the one picture that answers this question.

4 Where did Jesus live before He came to this earth? John 1:1-3, 14 In the beginning was the W, and the W was with G, and the W w G. (2) He was i t b w G. (3) A t were m through H, and w h n w m that was m.... (14) And the W b f and d a u, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word made flesh would be Jesus, who came to this earth and dwelt among us. Since He was with God and was God (John 1:1), then Jesus lived in heaven before coming to this earth. John 1:3 said, All things were made by Him. Let s look at a few more Scriptures that talk about Jesus (also known as Lord) as Creator. Fill in the vowels of the following verse. Hebrews 1:10 nd: Y, L rd, n th b g_nn_ng l d th f nd t n f th rth, nd th h v ns r th w rk f Y h nds: UNSCRAMBLE the scrambled words in this verse. Colossians 1:16 For by him all things were RACETED that are in heaven and that are on THERA, BLIVESI and invisible, whether NORTHES or dominions or principalities or WOPERS

5. All things were created through Him and for Him: UNSCRAMBLE the following sentence and write it on the line below. If you need help, look in Genesis 1:1. 8 Christ was born in a stable, and cradled in a manger, surrounded by the beasts of the stall. And is this indeed the Son of God, in all outward appearance a frail, helpless creature, so much resembling other infants? His divine glory and majesty were veiled by humanity, yet angels heralded his birth. Angels that ministered unto him were not permitted to reveal their glory to the eyes of men. The tidings of his birth were borne with joy to the heavenly courts, while the great men of the earth knew it not.
