OUR CHURCH FAMILY Please lift up in your prayers those who continue to need an extra measure of God s healing mercies in their recoveries and recuperations from recent surgeries and/or illnesses: John Meier, John Horsting, Rita Bird, Dirk Hollebeek, Dave Vannette, Jo Sluiter and Shirley Greving. We are grateful to God for the progress they are making and for the healing taking place. Jerry Stryker continues to undergo several tests to determine the cause of and treatment for the difficulties he is experiencing with shortness of breath and chest pain at times. Pray for good results for Jerry and a solution to these problems. Please continue to remember Libby Ellerbroek that God would grant healing and renewed strength. She will be spending some time at Freedom Inn for therapy. Fern Barkema spent time in the hospital. She has moved to Lakeside Vista now. Pray that this transition for Fern will go well. Continue to remember Jett Ellerbroek at Youth Reach Golf Coast. Hugh Slenk left yesterday for a twoweek service commitment in Puerto Rico with World Renew. He will return on April 8. Pray for safety and that many will be blessed by the work of the volunteers. Pastor Chad will be having minor surgery this Tuesday. He will be out of the office for much of the remainder of the week. He and his family will be on vacation the first week of April as well, but back on Saturday, April 6. Children's Worship YOUTH CORNER March 24, 2019 Children ages 3 & 4 will meet as usual this morning and the children are dismissed as indicated in the order of worship. Parents can pick up their child after service at the Children s Center on the lower level. Today Teacher: Jen Peters; Helper: Lisa Mast April 14 Teacher: Shelly Koeman; Helper: Kirsten Buter Sunday School for ages 4 through 5th grade will also meet this morning. Children gather in the Children s Center downstairs at 11:00 a.m. and are dismissed at 11:50 a.m. from their classes. Catechism for grades 6-12 will meet from 11:00 11:50 a.m. in their various assigned classrooms in the Ministry Center this morning. Children and young people will be enjoying Spring Break next Sunday, March 31, and the following Sunday, April 7. Children s Worship, Sunday School and Catechism classes will meet again on Sunday, April 14. CADETS and GEMS will meet this Wednesday, March 27, for their final meeting of the season.
