We observed this day with special assembly, Odia Teacher Mr Dhiren Bhoi reciated a oria Song. The Principal encouraged the students to develop mother tongue Odia.An odia patriotic song was presented by the students. in the evening our school students presented a nice odia patriotic dance at the District celebration of Utkal Divas and Bargarh Pratistha Divas at Bargarh Utkala Divas is celebrated on 1 April in Odisha in the memory of the formation of the state as a separate province on 1 April 1936. With warm wishes and regards : Murari Prasad Sahu PRINCIPAL CNEMS - VIKASH APRIL- SEPTEMBER Issue :01 year-2016-17 Read, lead, succeed INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA International Day of Yoga was celebrated on June 21.The students performed Yogasanas and took oath to avoid junk food and implement yoga in their life. The Principal Mr Murari Prasad Sahu delivered a short speech and highlighted the importance of Yoga on Health, Mind and Soul. This day is celebrated annually on June 21 since its inception in 2015.

VANMAHOTSAV Van Mahostav was celebrated from 1 st July 2016 to 7 th July 2016. In our school we organized special assembly, the Principal encouraged the students to save and plant the trees to keep the planet green which is necessary for all the other living organisms. A nice song was presented by the students on the theme of nature. After the assembly the students of classes IX & X along with the teachers and principal have planted a number of trees in the school premises. Van Mahotsav is an annual treeplanting festival in India. People celebrate Van Mahotsava by planting trees or saplings in homes, offices, schools, colleges, etc. KARGIL DIVAS The Students of our School Celebrated Kargil Vijay Divas In the school on 26 th of July. This day is celebrated every year in honour of Kargil War heroes. The Students displayed a nice patriotic dance on the theme of Kargil victory. Social Science Teacher Mr Dillip Behera encouraged the students by his speech to develop patriotism in their mind. The Principal highlighted the importance of the the day and sacrifice done by the brave soldiers.

SPIC MACAY On 5 th Augusta programme was organized in our school on behalf of SPIC MACAY. SmtSunanda Sharma ji (Vocalist) has performed Hindustani vocal. The students were mesmerized by the performance. All the students participated while the songs were presented by the Artist She was accompanied by Sj. Abhishek Mishra ji and Sj. Sumit Mishra ji. Ms Disha Singhari coordinated the programme. The Principal welcomed the artists and Mr Dillip Behera gave a vote of thanks. All the students enjoyed the program. They participated actively in the program. Students came to know about classical song, raga, and many things related to classical song and music. SPIC MACAY is a non-political nationwide voluntary movement that organizes programmes of classical music, song, dance, folk arts, crafts, yoga etc. GANGADHAR MEHER JAYANTI Swabhaba Kavi Gangadhar Meher Jayanti was celebrated on On this day all the assembly processes were conducted in Odia language. A melodious odia song was presented by Mr Dhiren Bhoi. A song of Gangadhar Meher was also presented by the students.the Principal hightlighted the life and achievements of poet Gangadhar Meher and focused on the importance Matrubhasha in our life. He told Gangadhar Meher produced innumerable writings that have no parallel in point of sweet imaginativeness, in beauty and clarity of language.gangadhar Meher is regarded as a rarest gem in Oriya literature.sasmita Majhi a student of Class-IX delivered a short speech.gangadhar Meher was born on the day of Shravana Purnima in the year 1862 to Chaitanya Meher and Sevati Devi to a poor weaver family in Barpali of present Bargarh District in Odisha.

INDEPENDENCE DAY 15 th AUGUST We celebrate this day with great enthusiasm every year. This year great preparations were made in the school. Every one of us was eager to take part in the Independence Day Celebration. On the grand occasion of Independence Day celebration the chief guest Mr Raj Malhotra Head Plant operation BCW, hoisted the National Flag and inspired the students with his most inspirable speech.the Principal Mr. Murari Prasad Sahu, also encouraged the students with his words of patriotism and highlighted on the personalities who are the pride of the Nation.Payal Pradhan(VI) delivered a nice short speech. Mr Bapun Rout read out the guest profile. The program was coordinated by Dharitri Bhoi(VIII). The students of CNEMS have participated in different competitions organized by ACC,BCW. Parade was conducted in the ACC ground and the District Level Parade was conducted in George High School, Bargarh Parade Ground. Individually many students were awarded in different competitions, besides that our boys troop got 2 nd Prize in ACC Parade Ground, and Girls troop stood 1st in District Level Parade (Civilian)in their 1 st participation.

JANMASHTAMI On the pious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami a special assembly was held in the School which started with the Worship of Lord Krishna. The programme was coordinated by Mr Dillip Behera. Ms Banita Nayak delivered a short speech on the importance of the day. Mr Nabin Pandey the music teacher touched everyone s heart with a nice Krishna Bhajan. The Principal focused on the life and learnings from the life of Lord Krishna on the occasion. Program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms Jayanti Bhoi. The festival is celebrated on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Shravana (August Sept) in the Hindu calendar. VINAYAK CHATURTHI Lord Ganesha is invoked in the beginning of every Puja as Gananayak and Vighna-nashak.He is worshipped as God of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. Every year the school use to celebrate Lord Ganesh Puja with great interest,enthusiasm and devotion. This year also it was celebrated like previous years. The Principal performed the puja as Karta. Our Sanskrit teacher Mr Rudra Narayan Sarangi performed the Puja with great care and devotion. All the students prayed for the blessings of Lord Ganesh for the development in their studies. Students sang beautiful Bhajans of Lord Ganesha during the Arti.Programme was concluded with Prasad sevan.

TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION 5 th September :The auspicious celebration of Teachers Day started with Guru Vandana recited by the students and the Principal and the teachers offering flowers & garland to the portrait of Shri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The programme was coordinated by Ananya Rout (X). The senior students of Class IX & X honoured all the teachers with flowers and badges and touched the feet to get the blessing of the teachers. Senior students performed a patriotic dance. The Principal gave a heart touching complements to encourage and inspire the students. He told Teachers really play key roles towards the education and student s life. Teachers generally become a person with proper vision, knowledge and experience. Teaching profession is a profession of great responsibility than any other jobs. Teaching profession has a great impact on the growth, development and well being of the students and nation.

HINDI DIVAS SANSKRIT DIVAS We celebrate our annual literacy day or Hindi Divas on 14th September every year.with a special assembly Hindi Divas was observed in our School. The Principal lighted the Mangaldip and offered flowers to Bharat Mata. The students presented all the activities of the assembly in Hindi. The students made the occasion graceful with a beautiful hindi song. Astha Jha (X) delivered a short speech, Ms Banita Nayak (tr) inspired the students with her inspirable speech. Students of Class-I recited beautiful hindi rhymes. Arpita Samantara (VIII) recited a beautiful poem in hindi. The Principal encouraged the students with his motivational speech. Sanskrit week was observed from 26 th August to 1 st September as per the directives of CBSE in the School. In a special assembly to observe the occasion Mr Rudra Narayan Sarangi (Tr) delivered a short speech to promote students interest on Sanskrit Language. Kalpita Danta (VIII) coordinated the programme. Dharitri Bhoi (VIII) presented a short speech in Sanskrit. The Principal gave his opinion with a fact that Sanskrit is the mother of all the languages.

COMPETITIONS ORGANISED BY ACC ON THE EVE OF INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION-2016 Every year ACC organizes different competitions among the students of nearby schools to explore the hidden talents. School has conducted various competitions like Rhymes, story telling, speech, debate, song, dance, mono-action and pick and speak etc. We facilitated some meritorious intellects of our school to participate in the district level, state level and in Inter Vikash Competitions.
