Pre-Service Music Ringing of the Bell Prelude / Lighting of the Candles Emerald Grace Ouart Greeting / Life & Mission of Salem Blue prayer cards are located in the pew racks for you to write and share your prayer concerns. These prayer cards will be collected during the first hymn of the service by the ushers. +Call to Worship We gather today as your people, God. Young and old; rule-followers and rule-breakers; liberals and conservatives; and every distinction in between. We gather today as your beloved. We are a people who are tempted; who are wilderness wanderers; who trust in you. We gather today as children of the covenant. We offer this time of worship to you, O God. +Opening Song One Step Away (Congregation only sings chorus) +Opening Prayer Chorus: You're one step away from surrender, one step away from coming home, coming home. One step from arms wide open; His love has never let you go. You're not alone; you're one step away. +Passing of the Peace Time with Children Old Testament Reading Isaiah 43:1-8 Gospel Reading Matthew 6:29-32 Message Jeopardy Salem Youth +The Apostles Creed (Unison) (Inside cover of the Hymnal)

Prayer of the People The Offering of Tithes, Gifts, & Lives to God Invitation & Offertory Brave Tori Lynn +Doxology Everything is Yours Ev'rything is yours, Lord; ev'rything comes from you; all we have we offer to you. Accept our love, Lord, we pray; receive our gifts, Lord, today. +Prayer of Dedication +Closing Song I Am the Light Chorus: I am the light of the world! You people come and follow me! If you follow and love you'll learn the mystery of what you were meant to do and be. When the song of the angels is stilled, when the star in the sky is gone, when the kings and the shepherds have found their way home, the work of Christmas is begun. [Chorus] To find the lost and lonely one, to heal the broken soul with love, to feed the hungry children with warmth and good food, to feel the earth below, the sky above! [Chorus] To free the prisoner from all chains, to make the powerful care, to rebuild the nations with strength of good will, to see God's children everywhere! [Chorus] To bring hope to every task you do, to dance at a baby's new birth, to make music in an old person's heart, and sing to the colors of the earth! [Chorus] +The Lord s Prayer (Unison) (Please Hold Hands)
