CURRICULUM VITAE AND LIST OF PUBLICATIONS Shimon Adaf Born in 19/06/1972, Israel. Education 1996-2000: Tel-Aviv University, The Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding students. The Interdisciplinary Program is a four-year grant awarded to 15 students each year that allows the students to choose their own study curriculum under personal academic guidance and in accord with developing their intellectual interest. I took classes in different disciplines: Mathematics and Computer Sciences, Linguistics, Philosophy, Art and Literature. Employment History 2007 Teaching creative writing and modern Hebrew literature at: Ben Gurion University, Be ersheva; Minshar (a school for the arts); Beit-Ariela (Culture center) and Mediateque Holon. 2006-2008: Taught creative writing at the Sam Spiegel School for Television and Film, Jerusalem. 2001-2005: Editor-in-Chief for Hebrew literature at Keter Publishing House, Jerusalem. 1999-2001 Published regulary essays on literature, music and films in Tarbut Ma'ariv (Weekly cultural Supplement) and in Haaretz literary supplements.

Professional Activities 2012- Co-managing (with Prof. Nissim Calderon) the Ben Gurion University writing program, the department for Hebrew literature. 2009-2012 Founding a writing program in Mediateque Holon and serving as consultant.
