The offering today is for Household Treasury/Local Ministries. Next Sunday it is for Mennonite Biblical Seminary. Menu for Wednesday, October 27: Salisbury steak, baked potato, vegetable, roll, dessert & beverage. On Tuesdays for the month of October the Fellowship class will be setting up the tables for the Wednesday evening meals. For November the Loyal Workers class will be setting them up. Please meet at the front desk of Swiss Village on Tuesday, October 26, at 11:20 a.m., to sing hymns in the four dining halls of the health care units. We sing from Favorite Hymns of Praise. Focus will be on quieting our hearts before the Lord, dwelling in His presence, and praying for His strength to be evident in our daily lives instead of our own Food Drive for the Lima Rescue Mission - The Lima Rescue Mission was founded as the Lima Rescue Home on November 1, 1906, by Rev. Adam Welty. The Mission is a faith-based organization. ALL funding comes directly from individuals, businesses, churches and other organizations who want to be involved in helping people in need in our community. A table will be set up in the patio to receive your donations for the Lima Rescue Mission during Mission Festival. Most needed items are: No. 10 (BIG) cans of vegetables, fruit, sauerkraut, pork & beans, etc..; also instant coffee and cereal.
