Each day he gazed wistfully through the glass at a world he could never know. One day, some boys playing outside accidentally broke the glass. Instantly, Fred regretted his curiosity. Why? 5. There is a dead man in a perfectly square steel room hanging from a noose attached to the ceiling and there is a large puddle of water beneath him. How did he kill himself? 6. Before they had motor cars, a man rode into town on his horse. He arrived on Friday and spent three days in town. Then he left on Friday. How can this be possible? 7. There is a clerk at the butcher's shop, he is five feet ten inches tall, and he wears size 13 sneakers. He has a wife and 2 kids. What does he weigh? 8. Town records indicate that a man had a brother who died. Other records indicate that the man who died had no brother. Neither report was false. What is the most plausible reason for this? 9. A policeman is walking past a house when he hears from within " NO JOHN, YOU MEAN MAN, DON'T SHOOT ME" quickly followed by a gunshot. He runs into the house and finds 3 people, a doctor, a lawyer and priest standing over the dead body. He goes directly to the priest and arrests him for murder. How come? 10. You're the pilot of an airplane that travels from New York to Chicago - a distance of 800 miles. The airplane travels at 200 m.p.h. and makes one stop for 30 minutes. Whatʼs pilot's name? 11.
