Amazing Grace Amazing grace! how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed! Thro many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; Tis grace hath bro t me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. When we ve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We ve no less days to sing God s praise Than when we first begun.

The Old Rugged Cross On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, The emblem of suffering and shame; And I love that old cross where the dearest and best For a world of lost sinners was slain. On that old rugged cross so despised by the world, Has a wondrous attraction for me; For the dear lamb of God left his glory above, To bear it to dark Calvary. In the old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine, A wondrous beauty I see; For twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died, To pardon and sanctify me. To the old rugged cross I will ever be true, Its shame and reproach gladly bear; Then He ll call me some day to my home far away, Where His glory forever I ll share. I ll cherish the old rugged cross Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross And exchange it some day for a crown.
Shall We Gather At The River Shall we gather at the river, Where bright angel feet have trod, With its crystal tide forever Flowing by the throne of God? Refrain: Yes, we ll gather at the river, The beautiful, the beautiful river; Gather with the saints at the river That flows by the throne of God. On the margin of the river, Washing up its silver spray, We will talk and worship ever, All the happy golden day. Ere we reach the shining river, Lay we every burden down; Grace our spirits will deliver, And provide a robe and crown. At the smiling of the river, Mirror of the Savior s face, Saints, whom death will never sever, Lift their songs of saving grace. Soon we ll reach the silver river, Soon our pilgrimage will cease; Soon our happy hearts will quiver With the melody of peace.
