The road over the bridge was widened from 10 ft to 20 ft to ease traffic congestion. Lorry crushes biker to death In a bizarre accident, an overladen lorry overturned and crushed a biker passing by on the night of July 26 near Kannammapet crematorium, T. Nagar. The lorry, overloaded with tomatoes, overturned when the driver lost control while negotiating a curve. A biker passing by was crushed to death under its weight. The driver also suffered injuries.
