Divine Mercy Sunday-April 11th. The Feast of Divine Mercy will be celebrated on Sunday, April 11th. Jesus Himself related everything that He wished us to know about His Own mercy to Sister Faustina Kowalska, who recorded His words in her diary in the 1930 s. The Church responded by adding the Feast to the church calendar on April 30, 2000. Sister Faustina states that Jesus has promised those who go to Confession & receive Holy Communion on this feast day will receive forgiveness of sins & remission of their punishment. Thus, all Catholics are encouraged to Confess, if in a state of mortal sin, & to receive Communion on Sunday, April 11. We will also have a special devotional service dedicated to Jesus, the Divine Mercy, at 3 pm in the church. Every- Attention, Summer Campers! Camp Marymount is now accepting applications for summer campers. Camp Marymount is a Catholic residential facility located in Fairview, just 17 miles west of downtown Nashville. They offer horseback riding, arts & crafts, nature hikes, canoeing, archery, and much more! Please join them for their Open House on Sunday, April 18th from 2 until 4 pm. On 04/11 the staff will be Christina & Dustin Robertson. Operation Rice Bowl For those who participated in Operation Rice Bowl: your rice bowl contributions may be turned in at any time. Thank you for undertaking this good work! Men, Women, Families! We need anyone who is willing to clean the church. This would involve vacuuming & dusting the downstairs of the church and picking up trash left behind after Masses. Also the upstairs would need the same attentions periodically. The altar area and sacristies are not included, as this is done by the sacristy teams. We already have had a response to this request from Ms. Nellie Remke & Mrs. Mary Ann Ihrie. To both of them, we are very grateful! But we do need additional people so that a schedule can be made. There is a sign up sheet in the back. The more who sign up, the less frequently the chores will roll around. If you are willing to help, but cannot be placed on the schedule, please indicate this. You might be able to relieve those on the schedule whenever possible. Thank you! Right-to-Life Yard/Bake Sale This event, which is sponsored by the Lawrence County chapter, will be held at Rotary Park Building in Lawrenceburg beginning at 7 am on Saturday, April 10th. All clothing will be sold for $.50 each or $4 per bag beginning at 7 am unless otherwise marked. Starting at 11 am, all items will be sold for $2 per bag. Someone will be present to take donations after 10 am on Friday, April 9th and set-up will also begin at 10 am. Helpers needed!! Everyone is invited. Sacred Heart (Lawrenceburg) School Yard Sale On Saturday, April 17 our preschool will sponsor a yard sale which will run from 7 am until 12 pm. Please bring any items which you would like to donate to the school at your convenience. All donations should be in good condition & are greatly appreciated!!!!
