Why I am NOT joining a Life Group! Excuse #8: I don t know how to cook for a group that big! I hear that you take turns making meals for each other. Have you considered There is always Pizza Ranch...just kidding! Cooking for a group can be a daunting task. Don t let it keep you from joining a Life Group! While it s true that some groups may choose to share a meal together when they meet, not all groups will choose to do so. Some will simply gather for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and service without food, but let s be honest that s not very MRC-like! Groups may do a simple snack, a full meal or no food at all. Each group will be different! When it s time to sign up for a Life Group, be sure to read each group s details. You ll be able to see which groups are sharing meals and which aren t. Replenish Sharing Freezer Do you enjoy cooking? Consider making meals to add to our sharing freezer! It s a great way to bless others in our church and in our community! Reminder: We ask that all groups wishing to use the church for meetings, small groups, etc. contact the church office so that it can be placed on the calendar. You can find a Room Usage Calendar on Breeze or on the church website under the events tab. Thank you! VBS: Those who have registered for VBS as of May 13th, check your church mailbox for a song CD. If you don t see a CD, please talk to Jamie Kamerman. Info Packets with information about times, bus schedule, craft supplies, and more were sent out this week through e-mail. If you d like a paper version, please pick one up from the Information Booth. Prayer Partner lists and snack supplies will be sent out separately. Thank you to all those who have signed up to be a refreshment supplier. A reminder postcard is in your church mailbox with your refreshment items and the day we need them dropped off. We are still in need of cookies and frosted cupcakes. If you could help us out, please sign up today at the information table or talk to Jamie Kamerman. Thank you!
