I am the good shepherd, says the Lord; I know my sheep, and mine know me. Sunday, May 10th is Mothers Day The Mass that day will be offered for those mothers, living and deceased, who names have been enrolled in our Mothers Day Spiritual Bouquet. Enrollment envelopes are available at the doors of the church and in Harrington Hall. Please return envelopes to St. Mary Office as soon as possible. Kathy Anderson Cavender Lola J. Wink Frances Anderson Bob Johnson Tom Carden Roxanne Steele Mark J. Hanley Carole Shipley Jan Cook T oday, Good Shepherd Sunday, Jesus tells us: I am the good shepherd. I have other sheep that do not belong to his fold. These also I must lead, and there will be one flock, one shepherd. The flock of Jesus stretches far outside the fold that is our St Mary Church. We share in the Annual Catholic Appeal so that the sheep of Jesus outside of our fold can hear the voice of their Good Shepherd, and by led by him through the ministries and services provided by us, their brother and sister sheep who are part of the Catholic Church of Western Washington. Services are provided to Veterans, including family support and disability. The homeless and soon-to-be-homeless find a way out through prevention programs and affordable housing for adults, families, seniors and those with special needs. Almost 2 million hours of home care is provided for people with disabilities and seniors, along with 1.6 million meals served. Youth and young adults are brought into Catholic ministry, future priests are developed, sisters and priest who have given their life in service to the Church are aided in retirement, and St Mary receives financial support for Religious Education and the Future Refurbishment of the Church. Thank you if you have made your gift to the Appeal. If not, please fill out a pledge envelope today or go online to www.staugustineoh.org to donate and share in the witness! If you cannot make a financial gift this year, please write Prayer and your name on a pledge envelope, and share in our mission that way. Thank you!
