Today, Christian stewards search out the hidden presence of Jesus in their own lives every day. They know Christ is the Messiah who will one day bring about a perfect restoration to a troubled world. They further understand that they are sacraments of his hidden presence in the world. Their task is to make that reality known through their own words and actions. What is one thing we can do to be better stewards of Christ s life in us? Stewardship: In today s first reading, we hear Samuel respond eagerly, Here I am! each time the Lord calls him. May we, too, be listening for the call of God in our lives and be ready to say like the psalmist, Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will. Marriage Corner: Jesus invitation to Andrew, Come, and you will see, moves Andrew to introduce his brother Simon Peter to Christ. Has your family ever been a means of inviting someone to behold God s love in their lives? Think about ways God provides opportunities for new beginnings in the midst of change. ST.
