Along with a successful fundraiser for our own school, we also raised over $20,000 for our partner school, St. Joseph School in Chehalis, WA! Thank you to all of our parents, parishioners, and supporters who raised their paddle to support the gift of a Catholic education for the young learners in these two schools. This coming Wednesday is our annual Celebration of Learning. Students will display the different ways they have grown throughout the school year. Finally, our school musical is right around the corner. On May 10, 11, and 12, our young thespians will put on James and the Giant Peach. We are certain to be treated to a magical production. OLF SCHOOL MUSICAL TICKETS Tickets are now on sale for this year's OLF school musical, James and the Giant Peach, Jr. Purchase your tickets HERE for $12 per ticket. Sunday School for Pre K-Jr. High takes place from 9:30-10:20 in the school. The curriculum is grade specific. All parish children are encouraged to apply. Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) takes place during 10:30 mass for children pre-k through 6yo or who are not preparing for 1st Holy Communion. Lessons are specific to this age group. Younger children are welcome accompanied with an adult. Children preparing for First Eucharist and older accompany their parents and participate in the sacrifice of the Mass in church. Children must be age six or younger. Parents are required to: 1. Submit the necessary paperwork prior to requesting a date for the baptism. 2. Reserve an open spot for their child(ren). 3. Have attended the class within the last 2 years. 4. Attend the rehearsal for each occurrence. At this time there are openings for infant baptism in: May. In general, baptisms should be celebrated in your home parish. Requests from outside Our Lady of Fatima boundaries will be considered on a case by case basis. FRANCIS HOUSE: Sandwiches, individually wrapped and back in labeled bread bags as to what kind, plus hard boiled eggs-please deliver to the Parish Center on Wednesdays by 9:00 am! Our dedicated Volunteers deliver every week. The food from Fatima is usually the only food the St Francis clients receive each Wednesday. St Francis House also especially needs clean men s clothing such as jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts and shoes. Sign up here for hard boiled egg donations. Please put non-perishables in the TC5 bin in the social center or deliver in person to the camp- a sharp right turn heading south on 15 th right before the Magnolia Bridge BALLARD FOOD BANK: Non-perishable food items can be placed in the large wooden box in the parish center.
