I T I N E R A R Y Oct. 5: Arrive Tel Aviv / Jerusalem Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv we will be met at the airport and then drive to Jerusalem, our home for the next five nights. evening half of the group will have a special Middle Eastern dinner at the Christmas Hotel and the remainder will have a regular meal at the various hotels they are staying at. Oct. 6: Jerusalem Opening liturgy at 10:00 at St. Saviour s Church. Return to the Pontifical Institute Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center for lunch. WUCWO activities in the Notre Dame s auditorium for the remainder of the afternoon. Oct. 7: Jerusalem 10:00 to 12:00. After lunch enjoy a half day tour of Jerusalem. Drive to the Mt. of Olives for a spectacular view of Jerusalem. Then proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane to visit the Church of All Nations. Continue on to Bethlehem to visit the Nativity Church which was built by Constantine in the 4th Century over the traditional Grotto of Jesus' birth. See the Manger, the Grotto of St. Jerome, the Church of St. Catherine, and the Shepherd's Fields. Oct 11: Jerusalem WUCWO closing ceremonies and liturgy in the Notre Dame s auditorium from 08:30 to 12:00. After lunch enjoy a half day tour. Drive to Mt. Zion to visit the Cenacle, King David's Tomb, Dormition Abbey, and St. Peter in Gallicantu where Peter denied Jesus three times. Then proceed to Ein Karem, birthplace of St. John the Baptist, to see the Visitation Church where Mary proclaimed her famous "Magnificat". This evening the other half of the group will have a special Middle Eastern dinner at the Christmas Hotel while the people who dined there previously will have dinner this evening at the various hotels they are staying at. Oct. 8: Jerusalem 10:00 to 12:00. After lunch enjoy a half day tour of Jerusalem. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of St. Anne, the Pool of Bethesda, the Chapel of Flagellation, Lithostrotos, and the Arch of the "Ecce Homo". Take part in the weekly Franciscan procession which takes place each Friday along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where we will see Golgotha and the Tomb of Our Lord. Oct. 12: Jerusalem / Tel Aviv Transfer to the airport for departure or embark on the optional tour to Galilee. Oct. 9: Jerusalem 08:30 to 17:30. Oct. 10: Jerusalem This morning will be spent visiting different Catholic parishes in and around Jerusalem and Bethlehem. WUCWO activities in the Notre Dame s auditorium from 15:00 to 18:00. This

Optional Tour to Galilee Oct. 12: Jerusalem / Tiberias Depart Jerusalem and drive through the Judean wilderness to Jericho, the oldest known city in the Western World. From the top of the ancient "tel," we'll have an excellent view of Elisha's Fountain, the Qarantal, and the Mt. of Temptation. Continue north through the Jordan River Valley to the Sea of Galilee where we will take a boat ride to Capernaum, home of Our Lord during his ministry. After visiting the synagogue where He taught, proceed to Tabgha, site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes. Nearby visit the Church of the Primacy of Peter. Then drive up to the Mt. of the Beatitudes to visit the site of the Sermon on the Mount. Oct. 13: Tiberias Following breakfast, drive to Cana of Galilee, where Our Lord performed the first miracle changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Here, we'll invite couples to renew their marriage vows. Then proceed to Nazareth to visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, Joseph's Workshop, the Church of St. Joseph, the Church of the Holy Family, the House of Mary & Joseph, and Mary's Well. In the afternoon take an excursion to the summit of Mt. Tabor to visit the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus. Return to Tiberias. GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS Reservations and Payment: The WUCWO requires a non refundable registration fee of $200 per person no later than April 5, 2010. Final payment is due no later than July 5, 2010. Late registrations will be subject to availability. All payments should be submitted in US Dollars only. Cancellation and Refunds: Please make all cancellations in writing. The following per person cancellation charges will apply: If canceled 91 days or more prior to arrival, the $200.00 per person registration fee is non refundable. If canceled 90 31 days prior, a $350 penalty will be charged. If canceled 30 15 days prior, a $550 penalty will be charged. If canceled 14 7 days prior a $900 penalty will be charged. No refunds will be made within 6 days of arrival. In addition, once any airline tickets are issued, they will be non refundable and any changes will incur a penalty. Additional cancellation penalties may apply depending upon the cancellation terms of our suppliers. Travel Documents: A passport with a minimum of 6 months validity remaining is required of all travelers visiting Israel regardless of citizenship. United States citizens, Canadian citizens, and citizens of most European countries do not require visas for entry to Israel. If you are not a United States or Canadian citizen, please check with the necessary authorities to determine your visa requirement status. The WUCWO and George s International Tours are not responsible for procuring individual visas or passports. Tour Cost: All quoted prices are based upon airfares, tariffs and currency exchange rates at the time of printing and are subject to change at any time. Should the minimum number of tour members not be reached, the right is reserved to increase the tour cost accordingly. Tour Documents and Tickets: Final tour documents are mailed, provided we have received full payment, within 4 weeks of departure. Baggage: Each person is allowed one checked bag and one carry on. The WUCWO and George s International Tours are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen baggage. Air Transportation: Airfare is NOT included in this package and George s International Tours will not be able to assist with individual airfares. Airfares for parties of 10 or more people who are traveling together will be handled on a case by case basis. Hotels: Accommodations are based on double occupancy rooms with private facilities. A limited number of single rooms are available at the supplement quoted and should be requested at the time of booking. Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you have comprehensive travel insurance. Not Included: Airfare, gratuities, individual visa or passport fees, personal travel insurance, laundry, beverages and items not on the regular menu of the included meals, additional baggage in excess of airport allowance, optional sightseeing tours, private transfers and all expenses of a purely personal nature.
