Welcome The Worship of God Kim Mason Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. Please pass the Friendship Register as you record your name. The Life of the Church Please greet those around you. Chiming of the Hour Entrance into Worship Psalm 47 and 93 Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with loud songs of joy. For the Lord, the Most High, is awesome, a great king over all the earth. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the king of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm. God is king over the nations; God sits on his holy throne. The Lord is king, robed in majesty. The Lord is robed, girded with strength. God has established the world; it shall never be moved; Your throne, O God, is established from of old; You are from everlasting. More majestic than the thunders of mighty waters, more majestic than the waves of the sea, majestic on high is the LORD! Your decrees are very sure; holiness befits your house, O Lord, forevermore. Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. Maecy Cook We light a candle as a symbolic reminder of God's presence with us. Lighting the Candle of Divine Presence Hymn No. 323 How Great Thou Art
Prayers of the People Greg Pope The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Scripture Luke 24.36-52 Musical Worship I Am Not Alone Children's Moment Hymn No. 622 He Lives Prayer of Thanksgiving When I walk through deep waters I know that You will be with me. When I'm standing in the fire I will not be overcome. Through the valley of the shadow I will not fear. I am not alone. I am not alone. You will go before me. You will never leave me. In the midst of deep sorrow I see Your light is breaking through. The dark of night will not overtake me I am pressing into You. Lord, You fight my every battle And I will not fear. You amaze me. Redeem me. You call me as Your own. You're my strength. You're my defender. You're my refuge in the storm. Through these trials You've always been faithful. You bring healing to my soul. Choral Anthem Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of his spirit, washed in his blood. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long; this is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. Perfect submission, perfect delight, visions of rapture now burst on my sight: angels descending bringing from above, filled with his goodness, lost in his love. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long; this is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my savior am happy and blest: watching and waiting, looking above, filled with his goodness, lost in his love. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long; this is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. Praising my Savior all the day long.
