Mini-Golf Tournament Dick Roberts explained mini-golf tournament that will be held at Mountain View with the potluck on April 3 rd. There will be prizes. We will start playing at 8:00. He encouraged more men to play this year and said it was a lot of fun last year and he has a few trophies left. Membership Director s Report Les is sick but we have lots of new members, Connie said approximately 300. Event Director s Report: Richard Holcomb Richard reported we made $8,355.94 in 6 hrs. at our March 3 rd car show and thanked all who participated and worked at the show. There may be a few more changes to this amount. Richard told us he is stepping down. We re looking for someone to step up as Events Director. Troy told us that the board has decided to split this Event Director s position. We will have one person in charge of all events such as nursing homes, schools, RCSC property shows, etc. The 2 nd person will do the annual big car show only. Anthony will take over the car show and we are looking for someone else to be Event Chairman for all the other events during the year. The biggest thing is help, we have over 300 members and hopefully we will have more members help out. Marilyn Miller on Farewell Car Show/Picnic: Spring Picnic will be April 3 rd at Mountain View and we have a sign-up sheet going around so we can get an approximate head count. The club is providing coffee, lemonade, ice tea and water and table service. There s no refrigeration but there are plenty of plugs for crockpots. A suggestion would be A-H main dish, I-R salads and S-Z deserts. Or you can bring anything you like you don t have to stick with that. We still need help with set-up and clean-up. We will eat at Noon. We still need help with set-up and clean-up. We need a few people to carry in dishes for those who need assistance. Dick will be in charge of mini-golf and that will start at 8 a.m. the car show and potluck will be 9-3pm. We will eat at Noon. President s Report: Troy Janicki We have not heard anything on the building. Everything is all done. Fire Marshall has been in there and signed off, electrical is done, painting is done. We are still waiting for Chris Herring to sign off on Rules and Regulations and procedures and then we can get in. Troy said he does not know why it is taking so long. Without the sign-off on that we cannot get in. Troy will keep asking and as soon as we can get in we can start monitor training. We will get the R&R out to the membership by e-mail or regular mail. We have to vote on those as a membership. We can call a special meeting if necessary. Troy told us he will notify us as soon as we know. Connie has extra car show shirts from the show for $10. Vice President #2 Report: Ed Gurski We will be having elections as officers can only serve 3 years. We will vote in December. The membership needs to nominate someone to head up nominating committee. Troy commented nominating committee will be formed in October and nominations will be made known in November including nominations from the floor and we will vote in December. All positions are open and are for one year.

Vice President #1 Report: Bill Senter Rules and Regulations are on the website so please read them. Bill said he will be finished at VP after this year. You can look up the description of each office and suggested that we do this. Please think about running for office so we can get this done by December when we vote. Bill said all positions are open. If we have more than one person nominated, we will have a ballot. Bill said no one has entered the Where Am I Now contest and we were to have it turned in today and winner would get a free car detail by Code Red up to $160. Winner will be announced at the April 3 rd picnic. Building Committee Report: Jon Braemer Jon said someone has made an anonymous gift of 1000 dozen golf balls to the club. They are stored in his garage. The board decided that we give these away with each raffle ticket sold at the Sun City golf courses. We will make a sign saying Free Golf Balls with a ticket purchase. Roxie made a schedule and we will start at the golf course up North and go to all golf courses. So if you want to pick up the car from Gary and take it to the golf course, we can sell tickets and give away the balls with each purchase. Jon will deliver the balls. Please sign up today. These are new balls never been struck. They cannot be sold. If we have any balls left, we will do it again next year. RCSC has given us permission to do this. Troy reported that Sun City Upholstery donated the labor to cover the seats on the Raffle Car. It is all done and looks great. The Health Fair is coming up and we can take the car and sell tickets. Facilities/Shop Director s Report: Tom LaVack No keys to the building yet. Procedures Director Report: Gary Davis Gary asked Richard to stand up so we could thank him. We have sold 200 tickets for the raffle car so far. The car looks great, Troy did an excellent job buffing it out and it looks gorgeous. We decided it would be best to get the shop open before we do any monitor training. Everyone that signed up will be called. Regarding elections, board members cannot be on the nominating committee according to RCSC rules. We need members to be on the committee so please consider this. Beth said she will be on the committee. Beth said she will serve and will be calling members to help. We also want to thank Anthony for helping with the show.

Public Relations Director s Report: Ed Gordon Ed said he submits a different article every week and cannot help what they print or don t print. He said he needs help. Old Business: Jim Vonheeder has cars for sale in Nebraska if anyone is interested. Troy told him to get pictures to Ron Whitney to put on the website for sale. He said he has a 3-car trailer to tow them down here. New Business: Richard reminded members of car show at Bell Fun Fair this Saturday from 9:00-3:00. We had been limited to 12 cars but now RCSC wants as many as possible. 50/50: $77 in the drawing. #3962 drawn, no winner. #3937 drawn, winner is Beth Smith. She donated the money back to the club. Adjourn Meeting: Bob Faron made a motion to adjourn meeting and seconded by Tim Shelton. Motion passed Meeting adjourned 2:18 p.m, Respectfully submitted, Yvonne Ahrens, Recording Secretary
