St. Paul S annual ChriStmaS luncheon Sunday, December 4th following worship in the Fellowship Hall Our Annual Christmas Luncheon will be Sunday, December 4th. After all the great feedback we received from you following last year s Christmas Luncheon, we have decided to follow the same format. We will have a fully catered lunch of ham, scalloped potatoes, sides and dessert. In keeping with last year, we will not sell tickets, but ask for all who plan to attend to sign up after church or contact the church office to reserve their place. We want all to be able to attend. The approximate cost of the dinner is $12 for adults and $5 for children. However, we only ask that you donate what you can comfortably give and join us for fellowship. Those who wish may choose to pay it forward for someone else. Your presence is the most important. Following the Christmas Lunch we will enjoy a Christmas musical presentation by the children led by Linda Ray. And as is our tradition, we will conclude with a rousing rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas. You can make your reservations by calling or emailing the church office or by signing up with Judy Karnes on Sundays during Coffee Fellowship. THE COMMUNICATOR or better known as Dave Bland To Pastor Lisa from all of us.

Stephen Ministers Have you or someone you know recently had to adjust to any new situations like a new job, a new baby, a new house, a separation, a grown child moving back, a seriously ill parent, a best friend who has moved away? Situations like these and many others can unbalance any of us, can set our lives spinning, make us feel alone. If your life or that of someone you know has shifted out of balance, consider Stephen Ministry. Stephen Ministers listen, encourage, keep confidences, pray, support and walk beside a hurting person. For more information contact the church office or any Stephen Leader. Laughing Jesus Every day I get up and look through the Forbes list of the richest people in America. If I'm not there, I go to work. ~Robert Orben Misers aren t fun to live with, but they make wonderful ancestors. ~David Brenner My doctor is wonderful. Once, when I couldn't afford an operation, he touched up the x-rays. ~Joey Bishop I m not going to vacuum til Sears makes one you can ride on. ~Roseanne Barr The most remarkable thing about my mother is that for thirty years she served us nothing but leftovers. The original meal had never been found. ~Calvin Trillin I haven't spoken to my wife in years. I didn't want to interrupt her. ~Rodney Dangerfield And something to ponder If you could ask God to clarify something with which you wrestle, what would you ask? Respectful submitted by THE COMMUNICATOR or better known as Dave Bland.
