In addition, on Saturday, November 19 th and Sunday Nov. 20 th at all services, we will take up a can collection at the altar. We ask everyone worshiping from the youngest to the oldest to bring a single can of food so every member can share what the Lord has provided us with this year. What a great gift we will share with the Rescue Mission. Our Thanksgiving Eve worship service will be on Wednesday, November 23 at 7:00 PM. STEWARDSHIP MOMENT Revelation 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth. During the Reformation this text was used to refer to Luther s ministry and the Lutheran message: we have an eternal Gospel to proclaim. Christ has freed us from our sins without any works on our part! We are saved by grace alone! And ironically enough, Luther said this should make him the apostle of works: because once we are freed by grace, we are truly free to serve God in works that flow from thankfulness and praise. SIMPLY GIVING A NEW WAY TO GIVE ELECTRONICALLY! Visit the church web site at www.lcorkokomo.org and select the On-line Giving link in the left column to set up your account. Once set up, you can also use a smart phone and the QR code image here to go directly to the giving page.
