You have put him in charge of all creation: the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea. But what is man that You are mindful of him. He earned degrees from Mars Hill College, Baylor University, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. Dr. Claypool was ordained in 1953 and served Baptist churches in Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, and Mississippi. He was a lecturer in theology at Yale Divinity School in 1979.
