1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum / here s the summary: We have such a high priest / he just said, Who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens -- and that s pretty high, such a high priest we have who / has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens / He finished His work here on earth, and He sat down already! Now, He is 2 minister of the true sanctuary, and tabernacle, which the Lord, and not man pitched / hmm?! Then what s all that hocus pocus taking place in all those churchhouses? It seems like a lot of sons of pitches up to no good! That s p-i-t-ches! (a bi-labial plosive! PPPPP! So don t stop the air!) That would be another word; and we wouldn t want to say that! But these sons of pitches these preachers and deceivers pitching their dreams and schemes and only scattering the sheep; false prophets, false teachers -- deceivers preferring and promoting traditions of men. Turning our ears from the voice of the Lord, and what HE spoke; taking our eyes off the great Minister of the Sanctuary. Don t listen to those little S.O.P s. Run from them! They re worse than sons of bitches Amen?! At least any I know. So, let me get this correct. Where Jesus is is the true Sanctuary. Hmm?! Now, is that why Isaiah said, Make the Lord your fear, and your dread; and He shall become your Sanctuary?! Hmm?! Let me think about all that. Maybe we ll have to think differently and learn something correctly! For now, let us continue Jesus is Minister of the true sanctuary, and tabernacle, which the Lord, and not man pitched. 3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices /in the old time; Uh-huh! Wherefore / why is this said for? it is of necessity that this One / He too have something also to offer. 1 ilibros.net internacional 2012

And here s an interesting point 4 For if He was on earth, He would not even be a priest, seeing that there are priests / Levitical priests who offer gifts according to the law / and Jesus wasn t a Levite! Those priests 5 who serve as the example and shadow of the heavenly things / this example and shadow of higher, spiritual things is understood when, as Moses was admonished / when he was warned by God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for the Lord said, See that you make all according to the pattern shown to you on the mount / on Mount Sinai. Concerning the instruction given to Moses on Mount Sinai, Dr. F. B. Meyer writes, NOTHING was left to human fancy. From the Ark of the Covenant, to the candlestick and its seven branches the boards, the curtains, and hangings until they end at the great Brazen altar in the court of the tabernacle where God and sinner met. And is this not also the path Jesus Himself trod? Meyer continues, It is always interesting to study the methods of religious worship even though the rites have become obsolete, the altars deserted, and the dust of priest and votary long since been mingled in the sands of the desert. Turn not lightly from the book of Leviticus which shadows the gospels. The truths of the Gospel are eternal realities. We must not think that they are destined to pass away. They cannot; they are heavenly things themselves. They have always been what they are; they will always be what they are. Moses saw no other truth in God s revelation than Paul saw; though to Moses, it shaped itself in the tabernacle with its layers of skin. Calvary is no novelty. The priesthood is no novelty. The work of Jesus is no novelty. They represent the shining forth of eternal facts in the deepest nature of God. To ignore them is to miss union with God on the most fundamental level of His Being. To ignore them is to miss the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world! See that you make all according to the pattern shown to you on the mount. 6 But now / but in fact, Jesus has obtained a more excellent ministry / He has gained a ministry that is far superior, 2 ilibros.net internacional 2012

Since He is the Mediator of that better covenant, which was established / firmly, securely established on better promises / and in a couple of verses, we ll learn about those promises. Verse 7 For if the first covenant had been faultless / if it had been without blame, then no second / covenant should have been sought for to take its place. 8 For finding fault with them In essence, for God finding fault with them / and Him being dissatisfied with His people, Here the writer of the book of Hebrews quotes the next few verses directly from Jeremiah 31. And we might wonder, Jeremiah wrote the days come meaning future days; but are they still future, or have they arrived? Well lovers of manmade traditions will insist these verses about laws written on the heart are definitely future because, if the truth be told when that happens, they are out of a job! Their favorite job being to confuse and to control others though you will notice most of them can t even control their eating habits and look more like whited walruses floating around their religious institutions and think tanks. From the way most of them look as they dismissively ignore the scripture as a dead letter, you would think their favorite verse is either: Jesus was a wine-bibber and a glutton. or more likely: Stand by yourself, do not come near me, for I am holier than you! But God finding fault with them He said, Behold / pay attention, the days come, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah / wow! with both His peoples. I bet He knows where BOTH houses are. Well, that s good HE let us know in advance. Right? 3 ilibros.net internacional 2012

I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah / those who are supposed to be ruled by God the house of Israel; and those who are supposed to be His praise and shout His praise the house of Judah. and this New Covenant is 9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them from the land of Egypt / oh! That s good to know. I mean, I almost thought that I had to perpetuate all that old, strange ceremonial stuff. So, thanks for letting me know. And why was God dissatisfied with His people? We read because they did not continue in My covenant. Now, Moses just said to them if they -- on their side would obey God s voice and keep His word; then God -- on His side would do two things: He would regard them as His peculiar treasure above all peoples; and He would take them to Himself as a kingdom of priests. And the people with a unanimous voice shouted, ALL that the LORD has spoken will we do!! WHOO!!! -- little counting the cost; their confession lasting about a week! and the Lord said, they did not continue in My covenant; and I regarded them not / He disregarded them! says the Lord. Verse 10 For this is the covenant / and listen to these promises the Lord God makes: For this is the covenant / talking about the new and better covenant; I will make with the house of Israel after those days / and we might add: with the house of Judah also. Ezekiel tells us, both houses will be one in His hand, says the Lord; 4 ilibros.net internacional 2012

I will put My laws into their mind, and write them on their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they will be to Me a people: 11 And they will not teach everyone his neighbor, and everyone his brother, saying, Know the Lord: or Do you know the Lord? for all will know Me, from the least to the greatest. from the small to the great from the little-fish to the big-shots! From the V.U.P s to the V.I.P s! In other words, to the ones: ruled by God we aren t going to have to hear those silly, juvenile or worse, divisive and shallow questions: Do you know the Lord? Are you a Christian? Do you know God? Are you a believer? Are you sanctified? Are you spirit-filled? Are you born-again? Are you dunked? Or poured? Or sprinkled? I thought we were able to discern the spirits in our heart; and deep will call to deep?! And the deep things we will know. The Lord continues with His promises 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and I will remember their sins no more / and that begs the question: What kind of salacious pervert would dig up and broadcast another person s sins, when the Lord GOD remembers them no more? 13 in that He says, A new covenant / in that He gives those five sure promises to His people, He has made the first / the original covenant old / and obsolete God! / the Lord God has rendered the first covenant useless! which makes you sort of wonder why some drag around these useless traditions. Right?! And the writer of Hebrews says Now that which decays and grows old is ready to vanish away. / to decay, is that like: tooth decay? or bacterial decay? or is it social or urban decay? It certainly is: to decline in health and vigor; to deteriorate; to breakdown until it disintegrates. Well, if that s the case, great-grandpa s traditions may be quaint, but I m going with the new covenant and the better promises. How about you? 5 ilibros.net internacional 2012
