C h u r c h L i f e U p d a t e s Guest Speaker: Today we welcome Dr. Larry Hovis, Executive Coordinator for the Cooperative Baptist Foundation of North Carolina, as our guest speaker. Please give him a warm Calvary welcome. Going, Going, Gone: The cookbooks have all been sold!! Make A Joyful Noise: We'll be singing well known hymns and gospel songs each Sunday of July in the traditional service. We would like you to sing along with us! We will have one rehearsal on Wednesday, June 21 at 6:15 p.m. Please join us as we praise the Lord together. Youth Mission Trip: Our youth left for their mission trip this morning. Please pray that this experience fills their hearts with a deeper knowledge and love of Jesus, that their relationships as a youth ministry grow deeper, and that the love of Christ pours out of them as they serve and create relationships with the people of the Conway community. VBS: Vacation Bible School will begin next Sunday, June 25 28 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm nightly. Be sure to invite your friends and neighbors! Prayers for Belize Mission: Please be in prayer for our mission team members (listed below) who are heading to Belize this summer. Please pray for them daily as they prepare for the trip, as well as throughout the trip (July 9 15). Please pray that their hearts will be open to new experiences and relationships, and that the love of Christ within them will be poured upon the people of Belize. Specifically please pray for safety. Pray for safe travel for our team...pray for safe planes and safe flights, pray for safe bus rides in Belize. Pray for safety in general for our team and for our partners in Copper Bank as they come together to share the love of Christ. Finally pray for constant safety and protection for Pastor Cal, his church and that village so that they can spread the Good News of Jesus on a daily basis.
