Thursday, April 2 An Educational Event at Anne Arundel Community College on Thursday, April 2 Combating Islamophobia on Campus, in Our Community, & around the World http:www.aacc.edu/ctp/oralhistory/islamophobia.cfm AACC will host comedians and media personalities Dean Obeidallah and Negin Farsad for a day s worth of activities aimed to learn about the causes of and solutions for Islamophobia. In addition to other activities, Dean and Negin will screen The Muslims are Coming!, their recent documentary film chronicling efforts to use comedy to counter anti-muslim bigotry. Leonardo DaVinci s painting of the Last Supper comes to life as the men of Asbury re-enact the Last Supper with dialog that portrays the hearts and minds of men who knew, loved, and walked with Jesus. Good Friday, April 3 Journey with Jesus, 11:00 am 2:00 pm on the cemetery circle (If it rains, then this will be in the fellowship hall). Ever wonder what happened between Palm Sunday and Easter morning? Join us for an interactive walk of the events of Jesus life from Palm Sunday through Easter. This is kid-friendly, so bring the little ones! There will be two guided tours: 11:00 am and Noon; or arrive anytime between 11:00 am-2:00 pm to take a self-guided walk-thru.
