RESPONSE IN SONG Sweet, Sweet Spirit ANTHEM God is Living, God is Here J. S. Bach Wherefore despair? God the Lord is everywhere! God is good, and with compassion gives to all on earth his aid; His strong arm, in powerful fashion, all good things for us hath made. In his mystic ways progressing, turns he every want to blessing. So my soul, now do not fear; God is living, God is here! Wherefore despair? God the Lord is everywhere! Shall he sleep when shadows darken, He who made the eye so clear? When we cry, shall he not hearken, He who made the listening ear? God is God the Lord, all seeing when despair torments our being. So my soul, now do not fear; God is living, God is here!

Offertory O How Amiable R. V. Williams O How amiable are thy dwellings: thou Lord of hosts! My soul hath a desire and longing to enter into the courts of the Lord: My heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God. Yea, the sparrow hath found her an house, and the swallow a nest where she may lay her young: even thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God. Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be always praising thee. The glorious Majesty of the Lord our God be upon us: prosper thou the work of our hands upon us. O prosper thou our handy-work. O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, our shelter from the stormy blast, and our eternal home. *Doxology and Presentation Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise God all creatures here below Praise God for all that love has done, Creator, Christ, and Spirit One. Sunday Morning Offering Counters Needed Beginning this fall, in an effort to improve our financial controls, and to follow recommendations made in external review last year, we will be implementing a simple twoperson counting of Sunday morning collections after the 10 am Worship service from September through June and after the 9 am Summer Worship services. Two church members will count the cash donations received, as well as list the number of checks and add up the totals. The donations will be locked and stored for the church accountant to conduct a second count and deposit. We will be establishing six teams of two people each who will alternate Sundays. The team will spend 30-45 minutes after the 10 am worship service to carry out the counting service for the church. If you are available, please contact Barbara Kucich at 781-235-1988, x18 or at Barbara@wellesleyvillagechurch.org.
