GILBERT AND CHARLOTTE BOX, JANUARY 21, 2019 Wayne was such a wonderful man. My first haircut came from him and I never got scared or cried when I was sitting in his chair. He had such a great personality and made me laugh. In fact I got so relaxed on that first haircut I nearly fell asleep. My dad still has a picture of me yawning. I would get out of the chair and he would hand me a dime to by some chiclets out of the gum machine. I'm really going to miss him. RIP Wayne. BRANDON DEFFIBAUGH, JANUARY 21, 2019 Heaven gained another angel. Cynthia and family, find peace in that Wayne is no longer suffering. He has won the battle of that horrible disease. Cherish all the beautiful memories you have and know you have many friends that care about you.
SHIRLEY VAUGHAN, JANUARY 21, 2019 Cynthia - My heart is broken for you in this time. I know Wayne is in a better place, but it hurts to know he's not right here any longer. Wayne and I got to know each other and I had a whole different view of his exuberant and passionate speaking method. He deeply felt everything that he spoke about and not all were ready to hear it. But, I saw that in his heart, his ONLY concern was to do the right thing, each and every time. He was a big man too, because I saw him apologize several times. Not many men would do that, but he knew when others were offended and that bothered him. I WILL miss him here but I trust and hope in the fact that I will see him again one day in the not so distant future. May God support you in this time. He loved Wayne, too, and this was not a surprise to Him. He was waiting at the gates for Wayne to arrive. In Christ and in tears, KEN HATTEN, JANUARY 21, 2019 I am Monty Philips son and I remember so vividly walking into the Barbershop with my dad to get a haircut when I was little. Mr. Jenkins gave me my first haircut. I remember the air hose he would always use to startle me and him always saying if you move I just might cut your ear. I am so sorry for your loss. He was so kind and caring. He was such a great friend to my dad and I thank him for that. Praying for the family. ALEX PHILIPS, JANUARY 21, 2019 Cynthia, I am so very sorry about Wayne. You all had many blessed and wonderful years together. Prayers for you and the family. JONNY LOU SPORTSMAN, JANUARY 21, 2019 Our deepest sympathies to your family. Wayne was such an amazing man.
