In the Divine Service, our Lord confronts our sin and comforts us with His forgiveness. Therefore, worship conveys holiness, blessing, relief and warmth. Any modification should be non-distracting and natural, moving us towards deeper reverence and careful practice. Our intent is not change for change sake, but fidelity to our Lord. To that end, this individual communion cups before leaving the Lord s Table. TODAY- Confirmation Meeting With students and their parents Sunday, February 25 Between services The mission of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Gar Creek, is to teach and proclaim the Gospel of the Lord, Jesus Christ, to its members, the community, and the world.
Noah Laurence Christian Schultz Magdalena and I are proud to announce that our baby is a little boy, for whom we have chosen the name Noah. While we had initially intended to keep this information as a surprise even for ourselves, our recent visits with our doctor and specialists have changed our minds. Multiple life-threatening developmental defects have been identified, which could lead to us meeting and saying good-bye to our little one earlier than his expected due date. We rejoice daily that God has blessed us and shared Noah with us, and we humbly ask for your prayers for our son s health and comfort as we continue on with our pregnancy and prepare for his birth.
