6 Ever thought about a spiritual retreat during Lent? It s a possibility through the Ecumenical Affairs Committee of Wernersville Saturday, March 15, 2014 9AM-3PM OUR STEWARDSHIP SCOREBOARD for regular giving through the end of September, 2013 Five years average Of percentage of the budget Contributed through the end of September 63% This Year s Giving Through the end of September Percentage of the Total Budget 62% Dollars in regular giving Received through September, 2013 $137,431.00 Electronic Giving arrives the beginning of the year.

7 Committees Reorganization In January of this year, Council members attended a retreat where Pastor Susan Lang presented a program that asked Church leadership to reconsider our current concept of Mutual Ministry. This called for expanding Mutual Ministry to include mutuality between all church members. As a result, and after discussions and consideration by Council, staff, Mutual Ministry, Evangelism, and the Dream Team (formerly Implementation Team), it was determined to reconfigure, combine, and create several committees to more appropriately conduct those tasks formerly done by Mutual Ministry and enhance Trinity s efforts to conduct mutual ministry. In September, Council authorized the establishment of a Personnel Committee that is tasked with supporting the work of the staff. This would include administration of personnel functions formerly conducted by Mutual Ministry members and administration of government and church requirements. In 2014, the current Mutual Ministry Committee will no longer be responsible for the Personnel Committee s tasks and will assume the name of Staff Support, supporting staff both spiritually and personally while being open to feedback from the congregation. Additionally, the current Dream Team will be responsible to scan trends within the congregation and community, identify new ministry needs and opportunities, determine evangelism activities, deal with goals, and report on its observations. The Evangelism Committee has been combined with this committee. Jerry Jarsocrak Council President
