If you have talents in singing, please come and attend this workshop and check yourself! Mr. Jeff Hall, one of the most accomplished and talented Church Music personalities, will be conducting the workshop. He has been the Music director at St. Joseph Church, Madison, TN over 20 years and conducted many music performances in the Cathedral and many other places. He is a great music director, organist, pianist and composer! Take Me Out to the Ball Game Our men s softball team will play against Leoma Church of Christ at 7 pm on Bobby Brewer Field this coming Tuesday, May 18th. Congratulations...to Brittney Stephenson, who was secondplace winner in the annual Right-to-Life Mother s Day poetry contest in the 5-6th grade category. Well done, Brittney! Our Nursery Our nursery will be staffed today (05/16)Maria Santini-Bolin & Alex Bolin. On 05/23 the staff will be Jayme & Melissa Niedergeses. To our Sacred Heart Knowledge Bowl Participants! We are proud of our 7th & 8th grade team, which placed third in the county! Also, Lucas Grinnell & Zack Voss were in the Top Ten scorers in the county s 8th grade! We are proud of Maria Kerstiens, who scored in the Top Ten for the 6th grade. Way to go, students!! SCHOOL NEWS May 19: 8th grade Graduation May 24: last full day of school May 25: 1/2 day: dismissal at 11 am May 26: administrative day: teachers only. May 27: report cards will be given out from 7 am until 9 am. 8th Grade Graduation Date Is Set Our Sacred Heart School 8th graders will have their graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 19th at 6:30 pm. All parishioners are invited to attend & to wish them well. There will be a reception following in the school. SECOND COLLECTION There will be a second collection on the weekend of May 15-16th for Catholic Communications. One-half will remain in our diocese for their needs, including their website. The other half will be used for national needs by the USCCB. The funds promote Gospel values through different types of media.
