If you have any questions please call the Rectory office for assistance. FAST AND ABSTINENCE Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics. In addition, Fridays during Lent are obligatory days of abstinence. For members of the Latin Catholic Church, the norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal. Two smaller meals may also be taken, but not to equal a full meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Latin Catholic Church from age 14 onwards. (Taken from the USCCB website)

These funds allow our teens opportunities to grow in their faith and friendship with each other through events such as our Paul J. On Monday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) the Knights of Columbus will have "March Madness Night" featuring Jim Brovelli. Jim has coached in the NBA and is the former head coach at both the University of San Francisco and the University of San Diego. If you have questions about college basketball while filling in your brackets, or want to know how recruiting works, this is the night for you. Stadium style snacks, hot dogs and nachos will be available, this is a family event. Admission is free. It is possible the Knights may be having a March Madness contest.
