PASTOR S WORD Dear Friends, If you re gonna talk the talk, you better walk the walk. As we finish our sermon series, The Power of Words, this week, we will be talking about how the words we say connect with our actions. Do we say we believe something on Sunday morning or when in the midst of a debate on a topic we are passionate about and then turn around and say or do something that is not exactly Jesus-like? The answer is probably yes, we are humans after all. But we are humans seeking to be transformed. So this Sunday, we will sing, we will pray, we will hear from James 3:13-4:3,7-8a and John 15:3-17, and we will have an opportunity to consider how we are transformed by God into people whose words and actions better reflect the love of Jesus. I hope you will join us at 9 or 11 as we consider as a community what it means to be living words of God. In Christ, Pastor Kathleen
